"As always, our evening at Nirvana was exactly that! I'm consistently thrilled with, but never surprised at, how amazing their food is. Their wine, of course, is spectacular. They have notably pared down their menu both wine and food, but it has had very little consequence to our experience. I look at it with the perspective that they saved me the time of mentally eliminating things I likely wouldn't select anyway. They had lovely live music on our Saturday night visit. The Artist was very talented, fun and also very considerate. He could read the room and adjusted songs and volumes as appropriate. Our server was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and just added to our enjoyment and positive experience. While the strip mall exterior may be a bit of a deterrent for those looking for an upscale experience, once you walk through the doors you'll forget where you are and you are sure to have an amazing meal."

"So let's talk ambiance. A nice, clean, simple French restaurant. The have outdoor seating as an option. How about service? The waitress we had was very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. Now food. We ordered the fondue which consisted of very small unevenly cut bread and apples, overcooked broccolini and shaved radish. Firstly, I expect anything French to be visually beautiful and appealing. This looked like they handed a knife to a preschooler and asked them to cut the items. I ordered the Legumes Au Vin. The menu description is, roasted vegetables, burgundy and potato. What came out was basically a base of mashed potatoes covered with gravy with a few onions, mushrooms and garnished with two overcooked baby carrots. It was sad to say the least. When you go to an upscale restaurant you expect more, right? I will add that the experience wasn't completely negative. The cocktails were absolutely delicious. They got that right! I definitely would not return or recommend."

"I have been coming here 15+ years since I first moved to the area, I would consider myself a loyal regular. Supported them during covid by ordering carryout when I could and since things have gotten back to normal back too going weekly and taking friends all the time. I wouldn't write a review but I was so upset after our recent visit. I brought a friend that was visiting from out of country and sat at the bar, the bartender who I think might be the owner, could not wait to get rid of us, after grabbing our plate she immediately gave us our check and then came back shortly and wanted to take it before we had even had a chance to look at it but obviously that was supposed to be a signal to pay and get out. My friend felt very uncomfortable and immediately gave her card so we could at least continue out conversation but at this point she came back with the processed receipt and literally asked us if we could take the conversation elsewhere as there were regulars waiting to be seated. Note there was no one waiting to be seated and there were empty tables. Its been years since I have been anywhere that treated a customer like this, it was very upsetting. I used to come here every weekend, even on my own without friends I would sit at the bar having breakfast, reading a book or news and not once was I ever treated this way. Well after many years now looking for my new favorite place."

"I always enjoy dining at Il Mulino. For my girlfriend's 75th birthday, I decided to take her out for lunch at this restaurant for the first time. The atmosphere and service were excellent as usual. I savored every bite of my delicious salmon, and the chocolate cake I took home was devoured in five minutes once I got back. It was simply irresistible! Unfortunately, the wait staff failed to acknowledge my girlfriend's special occasion, despite me mentioning it when I arrived and including it in my reservation. The waiter apologized for the oversight, acknowledging that special attention to customers makes them feel appreciated and eager to return. In the past, I have always felt special at Il Mulino and I wanted my girlfriend to have the same experience."

"I have driven past by this restaurant many times over the years. Too busy to stop and try them out. Well I stopped yesterday 10/15/2022. Once inside I picked a table for two being I was single. But I also wanted to watch the College Football game thatwas on the TV in my area. I was given a paper menu and I checked out what they had to offer. A lot of food I was first thinkingabout having Spaghetti but I don 't like A lot and with sauce very little. So I ordered a Medium Pizza with light sauce andcheese. With only Italian Sausage on it. The waitress told me it takes 35 minutes for the pizza to come out. So I waiteddrowning myself in Dr Pepper. When my pizza came out it looked good but I noticed the Italian Sausage was shaven pieces. I firstthought I was eating a flat Philly Steak Sandwich A lot of cheese was on the pizza to me and sauce that for me to eat my pizzaI had to scrape cheese and sauce off each slice before I ate it. Before my pizza came out I saw another table had orderedchicken wings and garlic knots. Which I will try next time. My pizza was good but I would rather have what I ordered lightcheese and light sauce. Italian food is very rich for my system and I 'm not a huge fan of cheese. But I will return for anothermeal someday. My Create your own pizza cheese medium pizza was 12.00 the Italian Sausage cost was 1.60 with my Dr Pepper 3.00Sub Total 16.60 Tax 1.25 Dine in Total 17.85 I gave my waitress 22.00 her tip was 4.15."

"I took my mother to the Two Sisters restaurant for her birthday last Sunday. We were immediately greeted and informed about the brunch options (i.e. buffet versus brunch specials and other adjustments, such as turkey bacon instead of pork). I think this is a great place for a relaxed brunch and definitely for a mother-daughter date. We loved the food and the service. We drove to a Groupon and will definitely drive again without the Groupon. Worth it."

"The hostess didn't know how to confirm the reservation. She told me the system was broken. Then she said the restaurant was under new management and they didn't tell her anything. That was after she told me it would take 40 minutes and I was surrounded by empty tables. The manager came finally had us seated and our server was great! I stopped another young lady on the way out and told her I wanted to confirm that my reservation was confirmed with the table open. She saw it immediately and took care of it. The hostess should be trained or let go. She was probably just ready to leave and had to stay because of the 3 staff members who were all late together."

"We visited Il Mulino Uptown on a Monday night. The restaurant is smaller than I expected, but still cozy and it was very crowded. We booked through Open Table and we were sat quickly. We had a great meal overall and some suggestions include the meatball and rucola appetizers. We also tried a pear salad special for the night that was amazing. The pollo parmigiana is the best chicken parm that I’ve ever tasted. It’s a super thin piece that has a light breading and a host of cheeses on it that melt in your mouth. We also tried a shrimp scampi dinner that was excellent and the dessert sampler was the way to go to end the meal. The service is spectacular. Simply put, there is a team to make sure your experience is positive. Some picky things to point out include the noise. It’s loud in there and not an intimate, quiet dinner that I’ve experiences at their other locations. Having said that, the vibe is fun and not on obnoxious so you settle in pretty quickly. Over all we had a great dinner that was paved slow and the staff was great. It’s expensive and the dress seemed to be business casual with a mix of people dressed up and some dressed more casual. It does have a neighborhood restaurant feel."

"My husband and I visited Brannan's after a day of tours and tastings in the Napa Valley. We were immediately welcomed by the friendly hostess and seated right away since we had reservations. We loved the layout of the restaurant and felt it was clean and inviting. Since we'd been wine-tasting all day, we decided to stick to nonalcoholic drinks. Our waiter was quite obviously not thrilled about this, which was a bit off-putting and uncomfortable. He seemed even less thrilled when we told him we'd be passing on appetizers. We both ordered filet mignon, which was one of the priciest entrees on the menu, and yet we continued to feel that the fact that we passed on wine and appetizers displeased him. Regardless of our discomfort with our waiter, we enjoyed our entrees and thought the steaks were flavored well and cooked to perfection. We also enjoyed the creme brulee dessert. The food and atmosphere were great, but the waiter's attitude definitely had a negative effect on our experience and our willingness to return in the future."

"This was our second visit and it was just as amazing as the first time. We also had the same waiter, Henry, and he was fantastic! We ordered the octopus and it was the best I have ever had- I highly recommend. The tomato brochettes they provided compliments of the house were outstanding. "This was my first time dining here, and we arrived about an hour after they opened. The atmosphere was pleasant and there was no rush, allowing us to enjoy our KBBQ experience. The cucumber salad had an overwhelming amount of sesame oil, but I did enjoy the kimchi, rice, and Korean cheese corn, which were delicious. I also loved the mint mojito and pineapple mocktails, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I had a mixed experience; the main course didn’t live up to my expectations."

"The first thing you notice about the Windsor Inn is its parking lot, which can get quite crowded during events at Karate Square. Thankfully, this isn't too much of a hassle. The entrance is located on the side and takes you straight into the bar area. The overall decor could use some updates. We chose to sit in the front area, opposite the terrace. The menu features a variety of intriguing dishes and creative twists on classic favorites. They claim to use fresh ingredients, and judging by the extra waiting time for our meals, this seems to be true. Waiting for high-quality, fresh food is definitely worth it. "disappoint. Previously we went for a special occasion and it was fantastic. the other night wasn't so great. I love the ambiente of the restaurant. the capelini and ravioli pata dishes were delicious, but the garnelen francese was tasteless. the tomats on the burrata were terrible and I was surprised that they were placed on the teller if tomato could not be found in the season. it was expensive and not really worth a big one. I don't mind paying for an expensive meal, but I want it to be unforgettable. the service was okay. it was not crowded and sat there waiting for a long time for a menu. had to ask for olive oil with brot. simple failures do not expect them from a high-end restaurant. go to il mulino in the village. this is really great service and an unforgettable eating."
