"Finally, I've found a place for great Chinese take-out! The steamed dumplings are fantastic—fresh and perfectly moist. The egg rolls are crispy, not soggy at all. The roasted pork fried rice has a fresh and authentic taste. The portion sizes are generous. For those who have tasted microwaved food elsewhere, you can clearly see that the dishes here are cooked fresh in their kitchen, not microwaved. As for the staff, if someone seems rude, it might just be a language barrier. The place was bustling, and the line extended to the door. The only rudeness I noticed was among customers, not the staff. This is my new favorite Chinese take-out spot, and I will definitely be ordering from Magic Wok again!"

"We nearly passed on this restaurant due to the reviews, but I'm so glad we decided to give it a shot because the food was outstanding! My husband ordered a beef curry with house-fried rice, and I had the combo orange chicken that came with pork fried rice and an egg roll. We both thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Most of the negative reviews are over a year old, and since we are new to the area, we can't comment on the food quality from before, but our experience was excellent—our meals came out quickly, steaming hot, and absolutely delicious. "This restaurant is your typical Chinese food spot with good prices and delicious food. They claim not to use MSG, which is a plus for those looking for a more natural option. I tried a variety of dishes and they were all fantastic, especially the house lo mein and chow mei fun. I must also mention their Singapore chow mei fun, which has always been a favorite of mine. The staff are also very kind and accommodating, as they only accept cash. One evening I found myself short $2 with no ATMs nearby, but the lady working there told me I could pay it later. I was initially embarrassed, but the next morning I returned to settle my debt and left a generous tip to show my gratitude."

"Our first visit. Because of the negative reviews I was leary and decided to walk in with a positive attitude smiling and polite. We we're greeted right away seated and drink order was taken. We arrived for a late lunch I was surprised at how fully stocked all the service trays were full with food. Everything was piping hot. Everything was clean. Everything looked so good it was hard decision for my first plate. The food was full of flavor. And mixed well with other items on my plate. No complaints there. Desserts are typical Chinese buffet Desserts. Light and just sweet enough. The fruit was fresh and flavorful as well. The ice cream freezer had the biggest selection I've seen at Chinese buffet 8 flavors. That area was noticeably very clean as well. We were several bites into our meal and waitstaff checked in on us. Offering refills before needed. Our plates were cleared immediately. We saw four servers three of them checked on us. All three polite and the forth that did not check on us was smiling and polite as well. None of us went back for a second plate. We all ate our fill off one plate. For four over 12 our cost with tip was 17.62 a person. It was an enjoyable meal and dining experience and we will return. I guess don't go in if you can't tip the 15% you would tip somewhere else. If you see the negative reviews do not go in expecting bad service but inviting to good service. It's worth it especially if you bring your appetite. Kid-friendliness: They also acknowledge the children and even gave extra fortune cookies after the saw the boys enjoying reading them out loud to eachother"
