"Last night we had an itch for a Premium Deep Dish Pizza and decided to support a local establishment in Riverside CA by Googling and found Romano 's Chicago Pizzeria, Mission Grove Riverside CA. Hoping to enjoy a premium, authentic quality deep dish, prepared and baked to order deep dish pizza pie considering and selecting the CHICAGO PIE x 1, LARGE STUFFED 14 in for $37.00 tax $40,24 total.. Upon opening our pizza box after a 55 min wait we witnessed and sampled arguably the worst pizza I 've ever eaten, coast to coast. The rock hard, obviously pre-fabbed, inedible, possibly frozen crust cupping the overly acidic, thick paste like sauce (tasted like jar spaghetti sauce) w/ the as advertised artichokes, spinach and not yet melted, cold cheese layer at the bottom. For $40.00!!! I 'd expect this poor quality product from Domino 's or Pizza Hut but that 's why we selected a premium restaurant like Romano 's. Not worth 1/3 of the $40 price I 'm afraid! DO BETTER!"
