"During a weekend trip to Chicago with my wife and baby, we decided to stop for lunch at this restaurant before heading to our hotel. It turned out to be the perfect choice. The beer was excellent, and I appreciated that they offered different sizes of pours, making it ideal for some midday relaxation. The food met my expectations for deliciousness based on my prior research. We both ordered fried chicken fingers—one plain, sans sauce, and the other with spicy honey mustard—and we shared the fried cheese curds. I was pleasantly surprised by how family-friendly breweries have become; they really create a welcoming atmosphere for families. Old Irving Brewing managed to strike a balance between a cool, industrial vibe and a friendly, inviting environment. I can’t wait to visit again in the future and try more of their beers!"
