"Good place to get a drink and probably skip the food. Pretzel is not so good to soft and crust is not crispy. I tried better. Place this place is large and can be for big parties. There's a party area in the back, but it doesn't even see it. The tables are huge and can be occupied after 1 or 2 hours. Food is dry and taste is missing. Or that could be like German food, but I tried it in Berlin and Brooklyn. The pork pest is too dry and without taste. You should change the recipe as it is better. Pretzel is a disappointment. We have everything we eat to go for a late evening snack. You make a lot of drunken food. Service is the best part. You're so friendly and quick with the food. I didn't have to wait long for our check. Summary is worth a visit and usually come to be honest for the beer."

"We checked online before going to the restaurant to see if there were tables available. Which turned out there were options for reservations at anytime. We were coming on a Thursday evening at 4:15 pm so we figured why bother making a reservation. When we arrived the restaurant was empty, as expected considering the time. The host asked if we had reservations which we didn't. He then proceeded to tell us that there were no tables available because they had reserved tables and we could sit at the bar area. That seemed skeptical but we went along. Once seated at the bar area we checked online again and there were still tables available all evening. We could have booked online and gone immediately to the host and tell him we now have a reservation. But we were already seated and didn't want to bother moving. During the approximately hour that we were there, only one table had been taken in the restaurant area. I would have given a one star for service but our server at the table did a good job. We've been here several times in the past and the services had been pretty good, until now. Not sure why the host didn't want us sitting in the restaurant area but the atmosphere and experience is just not quite the same at the bar. We were a bit disappointed with the overall experience, not what we came to this restaurant for."

"My family and I went there on July 27th. They were a little busy but we didn't have to wait fir a table. It took our waitress about 10-15 minutes to come take our drink order, it might had been longer because we had already knew what we wanted. When she came back with the drinks we place an order for appetizers and our main course. We'll it took some time before we received our appetizers. All and all it took well over an hour for us to receive our main course. That is from the time it was ordered. Then when we received our food it was l lukewarm and our backed potatoes were old and cold, the cheese wouldn't even melt on them. Also I ordered broccoli as a side and I received broccoli pieces ?. Most of the pieces was the stem part. I would expect a place like this to service fresh broccoli ?. I have eaten here plenty of times but the last few times have not been good. I hate this because they use to be a good and high quality restaurant. I will not be returning ???"

"Although the food is unexceptional, it is a relatively good value for the dollar. We are disappointed that there are no daily specials, unlike in the past, and no bread is provided. Our server was good, but we felt rushed even though the restaurant was not totally full. The noise level is very high when the musician is playing. He is ok, but I miss the old days of Bob and Hank."

"This charming little restaurant bar has a delightful outdoor dining area. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming. However, I wasn’t very impressed with their fish and chips. While the fries were excellent—freshly cooked and not too salty—the fish itself was quite greasy and didn’t taste great. I found the deep-fried batter to be overly oily and it didn’t adhere to the fish very well, so I ended up peeling it off. I wouldn't recommend that dish; I'd suggest trying something else on the menu."

"We decided to make the hour drive to check out Edelweiss for our 14th anniversary. The drive was worth it, as the food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. We had the Beef Stroganoff and Wienerschnitzel which were both very tasty. There are front and rear sections for seating and the atmosphere was definitely like your typical German restaurant/pub. We arrived at about 4 p.m. on Saturday and there were only a few others seated for dining so there was now wait, but the number of patrons increased while we were there. It will be worth another trip to try some of the other dishes.Parking: There is plenty of parking in front and on the side of the restaurant.Wheelchair accessibility: There are handicapped parking spots right by the front door along with a wheelchair accessible entryway."
