"We were in town with a large group, and it was easy to get a table for eight of us here. We had a good time dancing to the music, especially the silly chicken dance that everyone in the place gets into, including the kids, and also some traditional songs that many people sing along with. I got the sausage-variety wurstplätte, and while I always like fresh grilled bratwurst, i really liked the stronger smokey garlicky flavor of the mettwurst and the also smokey but more peppery flavor of the bierwurst. I had some of their Oktoberfest bier, which is a little sweet with a nice hoppy finish. I didnt realize that Hoffbräuhaus in different cities have different menus, because here they didnt have the same wursts as the ones i had recently in Cleveland. Let me add that this place is on the Three Rivers Heritage Trail, a 24-mile or so riverside trackside hiking and biking trail, mostly paved, with some gravel sections. Kid-friendliness: There’s plenty of room, and kids are welcome to eat and sing and dance!"
