"It was our first time at Jamieson's and we were here for the 5lb Burger Challenge. I was doing the challenge, and my family came along to watch. The staff was really into it and really paid attention to what my wife and son needed. The good really was great, even though I did not complete the challenge. I'll definitely be going back to check out the great beer list and the unique Irish inspired dishes. My wife did have the Scotch Eggs and Irish poutine and said they were great. I was so stuffed that I could only take her word for it. :"

"overall we were quickly welcomed and sitting. the dinning room was beautiful and the sitting was very comfortable. mun was our waiter who offered excellent service. he knew the menu well and knew how each dish was prepared. he was charming and knowledgeable. tammy helped him and she was so much fun! she has done excellent services. we tried the bird soup with crumb meat, which was the best I ever tried. we tried one of the hai fins shed that was delicious. we order the lobster bowl that was beautifully presented! it has fried vegetables and stir a fast deep fried lobster. the lobster was the best I ever had, because it was tender and full of taste. we also got the touching scallop rice, which was savory and tasty. tammy and mun ensured an amazing experience! their knowledge level about the courts has really added the experience. we will return to this amazing restaurant! there are so many dishes on the menu we want to try!"

"In summary, if I could give this pub six stars, I would. They turned a negative experience with an app into a positive one. Our Postmates order never arrived and the driver blocked us when we tried to contact them. Despite reaching out for help with no response, the pub stepped in to rectify the situation. Colin/Collin resolved the issue by personally redesigning our order and ensuring we received it. The pub did not blame us for the mishap and their food was delicious. After this experience, my top reason for reordering from this pub is their exceptional customer service. I will not be using Postmates again."

"The pub has a nice appearance. It seemed like our server was new, as he wasn't very attentive and we often had to call him over. My friend enjoyed his fish and chips, but I had a terrible experience with my meal. I first ordered the salmon, which had absolutely no seasoning, though it was served hot. The broccoli was cold, and the rice tasted like it came from a box or a bag and was lukewarm. I then tried the wings, but they were even worse—so salty that they were nearly inedible. On a positive note, the fries were tasty, and the drinks were strong, with no complaints on that front."

"The food is decent enough but the service is often inadequate, but not at the fault of the serving staff, usually. On two different occasions I have watched full 90+ minute soccer games without spending a single dollar because no one ever took my order. Once I was seated inside, once outside. Management is either unwilling or incapable of staffing the business properly. They do not have a host, so on busy days they have far more customers seated than their servers and kitchen can accommodate. On those same busy days, there are far too few staff working the floor, and it's not a one off issue. I've seen it multiple times. My guess is management either 1) intentionally understaffs to keep labor costs down, 2) can't seem to predict that large numbers of people want to watch international soccer games, or 3) cannot keep enough people hired to fill a schedule. Anyway you spin it, management makes decisions and the staff and customers suffer for it."

"The scotch eggs are great! But my entrees kept coming out raw. First I ordered the salmon (medium temp) and it was raw. The server offered to have it remade. I ordered the steak salad instead (medium rare temp), and that came out raw as well. And the dressing, described as a basil vinaigrette, was loaded cilantro. This is a good place for drinks and apps but was disappointed in the mains."

"our meal was absolutely delicious from beginning to end! the portions were good, but not ridiculously huge. The turkey dinner was moist and tasteful and the oysters and crab lining was the best dressing I've ever tried. our server jimmy was efficient, charming and knowledgeable. we would ask him again! also the entertainer was very nice and played and sang beautiful. "We are total fish and chip fiends but were sadly disappointed by this place. Fish was good but fries were cold and stale tasting. We asked for fresh fries and they brought hot but stale fries. They were terrible. At $23 a plate it was not worth it at all. It took 15 mins for the server to get to us and another 15 mins to get a Luke warm beer. The salad was way over dressed. It took us a very long time to get our servers attention for most anything although I'm not sure if it was due to understaffing. All in all we won't return to this place and do not recommend it for those seeking fast service, cold beer and tasty fish and chips."

"Enjoyed a tasty dinner here the week before Christmas. The decor is awesome love the traditional Irish pub ambiance, antiqued ceiling and windows. Service was responsive and friendly and the food and drinks were good but frankly, most you could make at home if you know your way around a kitchen. What was exceptional? The Reuben egg rolls were fantastic and the fish and chips were some of the best I’ve ever had plump and tender, perfectly crispy fried and battered fish. Sandwich prices were on point but the entrees were way overpriced. #Milton, amiright? I’d go back for the fish and chips and those Reuben egg rolls, but just for a special occasion. Until then, I’ll make my shepherds pie and pot roast at home!"

"Our server, Kat, was amazing! She was attentive and friendly, and handled the busy floor with ease. The calamari here was the best I've ever had - Kat mentioned they batter it themselves, which really makes a difference. I loved it so much I even ordered a second plate! The homemade bread that came with the beef stew was delicious, and my sister really enjoyed the crab dip. The cheese cake with caramel drizzle, whipped cream, and strawberries was the perfect way to end the meal. The strawberries tasted incredibly fresh."

"Good venue for a work lunch. We were delighted to be allocated a private booth for our group of seven. Friendly staff. Side of chips was delivered fairly late after the rest of the main meals after asking about them twice. Pie and pint combo was not billed to expectations where we started with some pints and did not order extras during the pie and pint meal, but were charged for the original pints on top of the lunch deal anyway."

"I ordered iced tea, which was excellent. However, it was a little inconvenient that the drink menu was available only online rather than included with the food menu. I decided to try the salad with smoked chicken, and I was pleased—the chicken was flavorful and quite smoky. The salad was large, primarily composed of lettuce, but it was tasty nonetheless. My friend opted for a smoked chicken sandwich with fries and enjoyed it. As for the service, it was just average. We had to ask for a drink refill, which wasn’t offered to us, and our plates were left on the table until we were ready to pay, even though several staff members walked by and cleaned other vacant tables. Overall, the food was good, but I'm not sure I'd return when in the area."

"There are certainly better options in Addison to consider. I would strongly advise against visiting this place. I stopped by late Wednesday night to celebrate a friend's birthday with some drinks. We were seated at the main bar on the first floor when a cockroach scuttled across the bar top. I was understandably upset, but the bartender, Mackenzie, remained surprisingly calm; she casually disposed of the roach with a napkin and walked away. It seems clear that this wasn’t her first encounter with such a situation. The presence of one roach suggests there are likely many more hiding around, which raises serious concerns about the cleanliness of the establishment—it is simply not up to standard. After witnessing that incident, I couldn’t finish my drink, settled my tab for just one drink, and left promptly. The tiny food portions, which come at exorbitant prices (for example, 8 individual nachos for $14), and a dirty bar are enough for me to decide I won't be returning."

"Upon arriving at the restaurant, I was informed that there would be a minimum 45-minute wait for a burger. It appeared that there was only one person managing the dining room, and the kitchen seemed to be understaffed as well. Despite the dining room being less than half full, I was quite disappointed. I usually have a great experience at Beef Liberty, but this seemed to be a problem with management and staffing. I may return in the future, but it will take some time to move past this disappointing experience."
