"Delivery was fast portions were a good size. The pad Thai was so sweet, it tasted like it had a tomato base and I couldn't eat it. I requested a side of fish sauce with chilis that unfortunately didn't come- the spice was much needed to offset the sweetness. The rice was either undercooked or overcooked because it was hard. The ginger chicken dish was fresh, but it was bland and could have used much more ginger."

"The main issue, though, was the automatic 18% service charge added to the bill, calculated after tax. When I inquired about this, the waitress simply confirmed it and dismissed our question with a giggle. While she was friendly, this response didn’t address our concern. While this was unexpected, we are unlikely to return, as there are many other great restaurants in the area that don’t automatically add an 18% tip. Usually, tipping is left to the discretion of the customer, right? In fact, I believe the expectation of tipping should be reconsidered altogether. The price of food should cover service costs. After all, do we tip workers who retrieve shopping carts or technicians who repair our cars? Are we tipping just because servers bring our food to the table promptly? Isn’t serving customers the primary function of restaurants? Or are we tipping because restaurant owners don’t pay their employees fair wages? I’d rate the food four stars but only three stars for the automatic tip and for calculating it after tax."

"Coming to this buffet like any buffet your expectations should be somewhat low. It was a good thing mine was. Let's start off by the services, it is very good, and that's really all I can say about. The buffet was super clean. Now, let's talk about the food. When leaving a reviews at a buffet, I have to remember it's not going to be best. This buffet was definitely better then most buffet I have been to in Houston. The sushi was very good, probably the best item they have to offer. The chicken dishes are basically the same as all the other buffets, it's not good. The soups are good. For the most part the food looks better then it taste. Most of the items they offer is lacking seasoning. But this is based off my opinion, and really I could give it 3 stars, but will leave it a 4."

"Edited to add: my partner and I dined in for dinner and we were very happy with our meal! The dining atmosphere was very nice, service was very prompt and polite, and our food tasted great. We will gladly be back for takeout and will be happy to bring family here for dinner when they visit from out of town. Grabbed a few appetizers (beef on a stick, a guilty pleasure, and the shrimp spring rolls and steamed dumplings) and was pleased with my meal. The steamed dumplings were interesting they looked like something I would make at home (a little clumsy) but the filling was good, had fresh veggies in it, and very little fat/grease in the filling. Overall better than recent takeout I’ve gotten in Charlottesville, I’ll definitely be back! Especially since the food, ambiance, and service seemed much better than another local Chinese takeout place."

"This quaint takeout Chinese restaurant has a window where diners can observe the kitchen in action. I've been getting takeout from here for years whenever I'm in the neighborhood. Recently, I ordered a few dishes: Egg Rolls, Beef Teriyaki, and Chicken Wings. The Chicken Wings used to be one of my favorites, but this time they were just okay, lacking some of the rich flavor they once had. The Egg Rolls were quite tasty, not made with a celery base, yet they still had a pleasant flavor. Unfortunately, the Beef Teriyaki was a disappointment; it looked gray and had a mushy coating that was overwhelmingly vinegary. I couldn’t even bring myself to eat it, which is rare for me since I really dislike wasting money."

"I've only ordered takeout from here before tonight. I got the General Chicken with white rice, and my wife ordered the same, each costing $10.50. We received two plates, one bowl of rice, and one plate of chicken. I was waiting to see if they would bring us another plate, but they didn’t. I thought maybe it was a family-style serving with smaller portions. However, I saw a man dining alone order the same meal and he received the same amount. I asked the server if our order was supposed to be for two, but she just shrugged and said, "I don't know, it's one meal," then walked away. When I got the bill, it was just for one serving, which left me feeling a bit confused and still somewhat hungry. The food was okay."

"I have purchased items at this location and I have been over charged several times and the proper receipt hasn’t been provided with my purchase. I went back to the location and spoke to the owner Luis and his wife and they both were rude about the situation that I made on a large purchase of meat. I was over charged about $100 that I believe the cashier typed in error. The owner’s wife refused to look up my receipt to confirm the amount of my purchase. My family and I have been a loyal customer to this location where we purchase produce and meat several times a month I have noticed that we have been over charged before but not to this extent. If this is happening to me I can’t imagine the amount of other customers that they are over charging as well."
