"Five years ago, I would have given this restaurant a five-star rating. I have tried almost every burger and chicken sandwich on the menu and enjoyed them all. My husband always liked the French dip. However, in the past year or two, the quality of the food has declined significantly. Their attempts at other cuisines have been disappointing. Last summer, I ordered a chicken enchilada bake that lacked flavor. I had to add Tabasco sauce to make it palatable. My father's pork tenderloin sandwich was tough and difficult to chew. The French dip was smaller and served on flimsy bread instead of the hearty roll it used to come on. My parents have been loyal customers for over 20 years, but after a bad experience last year, they have decided not to return. Stick to the burgers if you choose to dine here. Avoid the specials and non-Midwestern dishes. The waffle fries are a good alternative to the tasteless regular fries, although they come at an additional cost. Prices have increased over the years while the quality has decreased."
