"We opted for a late lunch (1:30pm) on a Friday, to celebrate our 30+ yr wedding anniversary. We were able to enjoy more privacy (lunch crowd was gone), and there was significantly less noise (to hold a conversation). The timing was perfect, for us. The staff were very attentive, offered meal drink pairing suggestions and went above and beyond to ensure they recognized our anniversary. They provided a wedding anniversary card (signed by staff), table confetti, a single long stem red rose, two flutes of complimentary champagne and a small box of chocolate truffles!! The food was AMAZING: The Kale and Beet Salad, was fresh and flavorful. The combination of tender kale and roasted beets created a perfect balance of earthy and slightly sweet flavors. The addition of creamy goat cheese added a rich, tangy contrast, while the candied walnuts brought a delightful crunch and sweetness. The vinaigrette was light and refreshing, complementing the salad without overpowering the natural flavors of the other ingredients. It was the perfect starter, not too heavy, and left us feeling energized for the main course. The Fleming's Potatoes were baked to a golden perfection with a delicious crispy top layer. These indulgent, scalloped-style potatoes were layered with creamy, cheesy goodness that perfectly complemented our steak. The combination of cheddar and jalapeño provided a flavorful kick w/out being overpowering. The Cabernet Filet was a masterpiece. The 11oz filet was cooked to perfection, tender and juicy, with a melt-in-your-mouth texture. The Cabernet demi-glace added a deep, rich flavor that elevated the steak to another level. What really stood out to us was how well the filet was seared on the outside, giving it a beautiful crust, while remaining perfectly medium-rare inside, just as we had ordered. Thank you Fleming's, for another fabulous dining experience."

"You know how, when you go to a restaurant, you're hoping for a dazzling, memorable experience? We've all had a few. Unfortunately, Union Common did not deliver. Our experience was, by no means bad. We ordered on the less-expensive end of the menu for the most part. With what we experience, I'm glad we chose the lower end. For appetizers, we had a cheese plate that was covered 80% with other stuff: bland olives, uninteresting nuts, mustard, and an ok jam. The cheese wedges were pretty skimpy for the price. The breads with them were good. We also ordered the crab hushpuppies that had no visible or otherwise discernible crab in them. They were overcooked in oil that tasted like it needed a change. The cheese plate is salvageable. The hushpuppies should be dropped from the menu. One at the table ordered a salad course and chose the salt-roasted beets with mozzarella. The beets were fine, but when topped with a salty, bacony sauce, the salt content overwhelms. We asked for some vinegar that we added to the dish and that resolved the bulk of the problem. I'd order this dish again, WITH the vinegar. Two of the three of us ordered shrimp dishes. Kudos to the restaurant for using fresh, head-on shrimp. The shrimp with red beans dish failed to excite. The kale salad with shrimp seemed to be better...but when you eat all the kale and leave a whole shrimp...what does that say about the shrimp? The other ordered the bison burger with blue cheese. The burger came overcooked. The blue cheese was indistinguishable. The rest of the construction of the burger was pretty good, but the stars of the show were M.I.A. Overall, if this were a weekday neighborhood dinner, it's fine. If this is a special occasion, there are many, MANY better options in Nashville."

"This was our first time dining at a Fleming's and it was a very positive experience. We went on a Tuesday evening and there was a Tomahawk Tuesday special we tried. For two people you get to pick two salads, two sides, two desserts and share a big Tomahawk ribeye for $150. We brought our kids with us on this outing as well, and they had a 3 course kids menu. Our server was very professional, attentive and friendly to us and our children. We were given a complimentary loaf of bread with 2 kinds of butter and coloring stuff for our kids. Our cocktails were made just right, and they had blue cheese stuffed olives as any place that puts themselves out to be higher end should. Although you would be surprised how many restaurants do not carry them. We got Ceasar salads, a side of sautéed mushrooms which were a variety of mushrooms, and a loaded baked potato as our sides. Our Tomahawk was prepared medium rare as requested and came sliced to perfection, and it melted in our mouth. For desserts we ordered, the chocolate lava cake and key lime pie tart. Both desserts were delicious. My kids each got their own meal and each came with a starter of crackers, cheese and veggies, and ended with a fruit dessert platter. One got a macaroni entree and the other got a chicken tenders and fries entree. Both children really liked their meals and had leftovers. I would highly recommend the Tomahawk for 2 deal as we thoroughly enjoyed everything we ordered, and you get a very good amount of food for $150. The service and ambience at Fleming's was totally on point. We were treated excellent and I liked all my food and drinks! So I will definitely come back here again for a nice meal when I'm back in this area visiting. Thanks for making our children and us feel welcome unlike Sealand Restaurant in FWB! Parking: Free parking lot Kid-friendliness: There's a 3 course kids menu"
