"We were disappointed with the drinks we ordered as they were bitter and sour, despite asking for something sweet and being recommended berries. When I complained, the waitress was rude and impatient, even though we were the only customers on a weekday. It wasn't until a new waitress took over that we received better service; she was pleasant and professional. The food was average and overpriced, but the quality of the meat was good. The carne asada was particularly delicious, fresh, and tender. It's unfortunate that even traditional places can fall short, but this dish stood out for its great taste."

"I had a disappointing experience at this restaurant on Sunday when I ordered takeout for my daughter. The food was extremely subpar, and the staff was quite rude. To make matters worse, the bag was covered in food sauces. I requested four disposable plates, but the staff was unkind and told me they didn’t have any, all while displaying a bad attitude. The two employees were also laughing at us when we asked questions about the food. The portion sizes were small, especially considering the high prices, and the food itself tasted terrible. Overall, I would rate this experience as follows: Service: 1, Food: 1, Atmosphere: 1, with a meal cost of $20–30 per person."

"I went to Rakuya with a group of friends because we were nearby and wanted to have dinner somewhere enjoyable for everyone. The reviews on Google made it sound quite vegan-friendly, so we decided on Rakuya. When I checked the menu, I was excited to see several vegan options, and they sounded delicious. However, I first tried to order the veggie bento box, only to find out it wasn’t vegan since both the tempura and tofu were fried with eggs, and they couldn’t make any substitutions. I didn’t want to make a fuss, so I opted for the veggie sushi board, which sounded impressive, but I was quite disappointed. The veggie sushi rolls were much smaller and less satisfying compared to what my friends ordered. They were mostly filled with just avocado and cucumber, and there was one sashimi-like item with a leaf, and that was it. I remembered the menu mentioning mushrooms and other enticing ingredients, so I felt underwhelmed and left hungry after having just some brown rice with avocado and cucumber. To be fair, my friends' dishes looked great, but the menu didn’t clearly label vegan options, and they weren’t very accommodating for making items vegan. I wouldn’t return if I had the choice."

"Umani Umani has really good and unique sushi. The Dresher Roll and Ninja Roll were two standouts. The food alone is reason to go back. That said, service was slow. The waiter was moving constantly, but with only one person and a two floor set up, he was constantly disappearing downstairs to prep and pick up food. People who came in after us sat downstairs and watched us while they waited to be seated. The building is historic, but inside is totally disconnected from that look and modern looking. Everyone that works there is very helpful and friendly, there just isn’t enough. And don’t look to the right of the building in the courtyard it’s just not appealing before you eat."

"I went there for the first time 5 years ago and the sushi rolls were so bad , I decided today to try again and give it another chance, I was really tired to go home and cook after a very busy afternoon with my 2 boys. We order 2 kids Meals, with teriyaki chicken and California rolls , the chicken was so bad, cold, no flavor, my kinds 10yo and 8 yo just try it and refuse to eat it. I try it and it was so disappointed.I order 2 sushi rolls they were eatable, but no good , very bland and the rice was hard.. that was the worst way to waist my money.I paid $100 for these.I can believe that this place still open."

"I really enjoy Sakan Bento! We occasionally order from them through UberEats, and the sushi is always very good. The quality is excellent for the price. Sometimes, they do forget certain items, which can be disappointing, but that's something that can happen anywhere. Today, I ordered the triple sushi entree and a mango avocado roll. Unfortunately, the salad was only filled halfway at best, and the miso soup was mediocre—not great. However, the fish itself was fantastic, even though there was a bit too much rice underneath, which isn't a big deal. It was a shame that they missed our spicy Kani salad. On a positive note, they accommodated my request to leave out the wasabi and ginger, which I appreciated. Overall, we really like it and will continue to order from them for our sushi delivery!"
