"Meal Type: Breakfast Price Range: $10–20 Food Rating: 5/5 Service Rating: 5/5 Atmosphere Rating: 5/5 Parking: Ample parking available, with a free parking lot I recently had breakfast at this delightful restaurant, and I was thoroughly impressed. The food was exceptional, earning a perfect score of 5 out of 5. The service was equally outstanding, with attentive staff who made sure our dining experience was enjoyable. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, contributing to an overall fantastic experience. Plus, there’s plenty of free parking available, which made our visit even more convenient. I highly recommend this place for a delicious breakfast!"

"This is a fantastic spot for delicious food served up in no time! We were in and out in under 30 minutes. I highly recommend trying the Bert’s omelette, and many regulars rave about the crushed ice they use here. The interior has a charming 1950s diner vibe, complete with a personal radio at each table—it’s quite a fun atmosphere! I found myself constantly looking around, taking it all in. I definitely plan to return for lunch someday. The bathroom was also clean and tidy. It’s not just the food and the decor that will bring me back; the attentive and friendly service ensured our drinks were never empty."

"Thank you! My friend and I went out for dinner, and we had a wonderful experience. However, I had some concerns about tipping. I felt the need to tip the chefs separately so my server could receive her full tip for the night. I believe the server plays a crucial role in our experience, and I wanted to ensure she got the full amount, especially for the holiday season. It was important for me to indicate that the tip I left was solely for her. I hope she received her complete holiday tip, as that’s what I intended for her, not for the company to take a portion of it. Thank you!"

"Had lunch with my family about 6 weeks ago...and it will be my last visit to this restaurant. The food was good but it arrived sporadically and took about 20-30 minutes...I had 5 grandchildren with me! We had to get the attention of other waiters for water, refills etc., as the waitress at our table appear to have abandon us. When she brought the bill, I had my daughter review it as there appear to be an error. The young waitress waited behind her and made an audible sound signally her disapproval of my daughter inspecting the bill. I have never had waitress/waiter hovering over you waiting for the bill. I will not return to this restaurant!"

"My side salad was like a soup salad, way too much dressing. Asked for a Lettuce wrapped burger and I got one small piece of Lettuce that didn't even cover the burger. I asked the waitress to check before I ordered to make sure they did a lettuce wrapped burger so i could pick it up to eat. She checked and said no problem. If I wanted to eat burger like a salad I would order a salad with a burger patty. I wanted to hold the burger and eat it. Next time I'll go to Bubba's 33 they have an excellent Lettuce wrapped burger."

"3.5 stars for the declining quality of meat and the mechanical handling of pre-made food that meets U.S. standards. 4.5 stars for the hardworking staff in a challenging and crowded environment. This particular Jack in the Box has consistently met my expectations. However, I sympathize with the moms working overnight next to a cold drive-thru window, facing what are clearly outdated conditions. The food maintains the consistent quality associated with Jack in the Box. It's worth noting that food quality has generally declined across most fast-food establishments, and overall restaurant costs have increased with a weakened U.S. dollar. I genuinely appreciate those dedicated workers who manage a job that few of us could handle in real life. Regarding cleanliness and the quality of food served, I would say they are doing their best given the circumstances. I usually order breakfast sandwich meals, flagship Big Burger meals, desserts, and milkshakes, so this gives you an idea of the basis for my review. Cheers!"

"The drive-thru service here is frustratingly slow, even when I was the only one in line and ordering just one item. They still made me pull up and wait for 15 minutes. I could understand if there was a line or if the parking lot had cars in it. The food quality seems to be inconsistent. I did enjoy the ribs, but I think the prices are too high for what you get, especially the tiny Styrofoam cups they use for sides. I couldn't believe the mashed potatoes and beans were only worth two bites each, although they did taste good. The curly fries they served me looked cold and sad, but I didn’t feel it was worth my time to complain. The corn on the cob and mac and cheese I ordered as extras were shockingly bad; I can't believe they even served them to me. I was disappointed because those items are usually hard to mess up, which suggests that the kitchen staff doesn't really care. As for the cod sandwich special offered on Fridays, forget it—McDonald's Filet-O-Fish tastes much better and is less expensive. On a positive note, the buffalo chicken wrap and coleslaw were great. Overall, this place feels like a gamble. I'm willing to give it a few more chances because the ribs were decent, but if I have another negative experience, I’ll say it's just not worth it for me. The Alsip location has the potential to be very popular if they could address these issues. Right now, it feels like I'm being shortchanged when I eat here. The prices could be acceptable if the food and service matched the cost."

"Although the sandwiches are a bit pricier than expected, they are delicious and generously portioned. The toppings are ample and the bread is perfectly toasted. While the pizza may not be the best in town, it is still very good. I am quite particular about pizza, having grown up making it myself. The precooked pizza slices can be hit or miss in terms of freshness and value, so it's best to order them during peak times. If the slices appear dry, they likely are, so it's best to avoid them. A suggestion for improvement would be to serve fresh slices that are half cooked and heated to order, rather than keeping them warm in a display case with styrofoam containers. This change would easily earn them a fifth star in my book."

"My wife and I are regular customers. Today is Sunday May 5th at 2 pm. When we went there, the restaurant wasn't busy at all but we were being ignored, no waitress was on site, and the host decided to punish us because we requested to sit in the back. After 10 min. No one came to even get our drinks, we just decided to leave and never come back here."

"We usually come here for a treat. Love the boil and the sides. Friendly service. The only thing I'd make note is that the sauce is not consistent. We always order explosion sauce and punish me spice level. Sometimes we get it right, and sometimes it came out not spicy at all. But other than that, a really good place for a good treat! "Our first time here, located in a very nice Setting. The inside very nice, quiet and the perfect setting to allow for conversations with dinner guests. We enjoyed our meals from the appetizer to the dessert. Our server, Erin was helpful answering questions about the menu items found her to be attentive without hovering over. The wait staff (refilling water, clearing plates) did their job well without interruption. The dessert menu more than enough choices. I had it narrowed to a few choices and based on Erin’s recommendation PEANUT BUTTER PIE, it was a winner. I hope this review helps as we selected this restaurant based upon feedback (word of mouth) from neighbors and friends."

"If you're a fan of boiled noodles that are overly watery and colored, you might enjoy their Mac and Cheese. The beef brisket is decent; it's tender and melts in your mouth, but it's not particularly moist or well-seasoned. I would recommend steering clear of the ribs, as they had an off-putting flavor, and I even found a hair in mine. The garlic bread is quite good, and while the mashed potatoes are just average on their own, the gravy adds a nice touch to them. The fries are also tasty, and the BBQ sauce is quite good as well."

"This was my first time at The Dish . I ordered the Apple Strawberry salad with Grilled Chicken and was not disappointed. The strawberries and apples were fresh. Although the description of the raspberry vinaigrette was a little off it was more like a creamy raspberry dressing rather than a vinaigrette, I liked it anyway. My friend ordered the Reuben with onion rings. It looked amazing. Our plates were empt and our bellies were full. There was plenty of places to sit, even with the group of seniors playing games at about fifteen of the tables. We don 't have The Dish in Oshkosh WI but when I travel to the Racine area again I will definitely make this one of my go-to restaurants."

"Depressing. The Log House used to be a favorite for me over the past 40+ years. I went there today for a brunch of sorts at 12:45pm. Was told to sit anywhere, although the counter seats were empty, I have an electric wheelchair for accessibility and we made our way to a very tightly packed room with not much space to get in any chair without disturbing the next table on both sides. We waited for about 5min before the waitress acknowledged us and a few more to bring a menu which was disappointing as there was no breakfast menu and the offering of choices was much less than before and very little in the way of vegetarian and gluten free options. When she came back I asked about breakfast and was advised a menu is usually on the table for breakfast of which she retrieved one. I asked how the turnaround was from the kitchen and was told about 10min. We had a medical appointment scheduled for 1:30pm 10min away and advised her of this. We ordered a couple coffees and waters and decided to look at breakfast options. Now 1:05pm. 5 minutes later she came with our drinks and ask if we were ready, so based on the amount of time it took to get our coffee from 12:45-1:10 and also reviewing the less than inspiring breakfast menu we decided not to eat and left at 1:18pm. It’s really sad they have gutted the great menu I remember prior to 2020 when I was last there. Vegetarian options: Salad was about the only Vegitarian option. The menu is basically a cheap diner style and lacks any creative ingredients or minimal food choices for those who don’t want to eat just meat and carbs. Dietary restrictions: Minimal choices for vegan, Vegetarian gluten free Parking: Plenty of parking Kid-friendliness: That’s up to you. Not a big kids menu or attraction. Wheelchair accessibility: Very unstable and bumpy entrance on both sides. Left side looking at restaurant is better. Steep ramp on right. No smooth entryway as the doors thresholds on both sides are raised. Looked like about a half dozen handicap accessible parking"
