"Our first time here since the restaurant moved from Setauket. We ate at the outside deck which was so nice. Music was piped in and was soft and easy to have a conversation with. The food was still amazing! It was my husband's birthday and I informed the waiter. He brought some ice cream and a huge sparkler! We had a great meal and they honored my Groupon! Definitely will go back again and again!"

"i can’t believe i’ve gone up and down peachtree so many times without finding out about this restaurant till now. the decor is quite nice and i love the open kitchen and bar in the front the beverage team is doing a great job! we ordered the chicken 65 and bhindi chaat which were great starters to share and quite delicious. for entrees, we shared the saffron butter chicken and the aloo gabi at a medium spice level, which was just perfectly spiced. i’ve been trying to find a good indian spot and am happy that everything was flavorful and seasoned well. on top of the delicious food is the service our server Naveen was attentive and went the extra mile into recommending what we should and shouldn’t have, and his recommendations definitely helped us a lot! He even told us the next time we come, they provide 2 hour parking next to the restaurant. the entire service team was friendly and approachable and did a great job! and on top of that is their extra details in service and atmosphere with features such as:1. the kitchen window showing the chefs making your bread fresh right in front of the dining room2. bags in the bathroom for women’s sanitary disposables and separate trash bins3. a large array of mirrors and portrait lights that provide a great photo op for you, your partner, or a group!i would gladly return again for more food!"

"I personally love this place. I know nothing of Indian culture or cuisine more than the average person does. But what I do know is, if I?m hungry and craving some of what American calls ?Indian food?, this is the place I?m going. Tastes delicious, theyalways ask me what spice level I want my food. They used to have a buffet, and then shut it down during the COVID-19 pandemicdue to obvious sanitary precautions and for the safety of all their customers! Every time I?ve come to dine here, I?m either theonly one there or there are one or two other dining parties, which again, I?m not a bit fan of experiencing that, but thatdoesn?t change the truth of how good the food is! The portions are relatively small. I can handle a lot of spice when I ask forspicy food, they still have never crafted that much of a spicy dish for me, I hope one day they do, but that?s a personalpreference! I also absolutely appreciate the kind service the staff provide. They are welcoming and hospitable and make itcomfortable enough to not make it feel like they are all watching you eat as your the only one there! Try it. You find out youwill be pleased!"

"We have dined at this restaurant half a dozen times, and we've always had a pleasant experience. I see some one-star reviews here, but I don't share that sentiment; perhaps the restaurant has made some changes recently. We recently took four friends with us, and they all enjoyed their meals as well, so it's clear we're not alone in our appreciation! As others have mentioned, this is a proper sit-down restaurant. I'm not sure where the 'street food' angle comes into play; while I can't comment on the authenticity of the dishes, we regularly enjoy Indian cuisine and find it quite good here. The only dish we weren't satisfied with was the Aloo Paneer, which was quite bland. Portion sizes can vary, but overall, the value is decent. Service can also be hit or miss; we've had the same waiter who was inattentive and slow on one visit, yet a joy to deal with the next time."

"I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. Despite it being nearly empty on a Friday night and us having made a reservation, we were thoroughly disappointed. The service was a mess – I had to ask twice for a glass of wine and had to go find the staff, who were lounging in the back, to get served. Our appetizer took 50 minutes to arrive, and it took over an hour from placing our order to being served, even though there were only three occupied tables. We had the Lamb Saag, Chicken Tikka, Lamb Rogan Josh, and Dal Makhani – nothing outstanding, but not bad either. Getting the check was a challenge, and even after using the “pay online” feature, we were stopped in the parking lot by staff claiming we hadn’t paid. I showed them the e-receipt on my phone to prove we had. Overall, nothing positive about this experience. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously."

"Oh my gosh! Outside of work I havent had genuinely good Indian food since leaving NY.. this was fantastic! The Chicken Chicken Tikka Masala was perfect! My teens have also never actually had authentic Indian cuisine before; my 13 year old had the Bhel Puri and my 16 year old (who LOVES heat) had the Goat Rogan Josh. They are both immediate huge fans! "I love the food at this restaurant. It is farm to table and it shows. There are just too many problems that can not be over looked. If there are more than 6 tables with people at them, turn around and go elsewhere. The service breaks down and you can sit for 40 minutes without your order being taken. That was our LAST experience. The staff is very nice, kind of like a 50's movie where a bunch of students decide to run a ski lodge. If I had already eaten it would be funny. My other issue is that the description on the menu may not match what you get. I am not talking about spice level or an unfamiliar dish. I am talking about something simple. I ordered Tandoori Chicken. Whole $20, Half $15. A fair price. I ordered a Whole Chicken. I was surprised when my Whole chicken had 3 wings and 4 legs but no breasts. We do not live in an area known for mutant chickens. When I asked for an explanation I was told the menu means whole or half order. I tried explaining that every other restaurant I had ever been to defined whole and half chicken differently or explained that it was not a whole or half bird, the owner blew me off. Blow off this restaurant. There are other choices."

"I made reservations through open table on to surprise the qife and visiting family. After receiving the confirmation reallized I better edit the reservation to give everyone another minutes. After receiving the confirmation attempted to call and check parking. Each time I called I received answering machine message saying you couldn't leave a message. We drove into the city to find out they were closed. We immediately drive to Bollywood up the street and had a fabulous meal. I see no reason to give Passage to India a second chance"

"Finally, Indian cooking that doesn't load everything up with hot peppter to make up for lack of cooking expertise. They manage to spice things delicately to bring out the true flavors of the sauces and foods. I suppose if you want it really hot, they'll do it. "My husband and I frequent Monsoon whether it's for a date night or to fill our need of yummy/spicy food. Everytime we go we get the same exact items. Our app came within minutes however we had been at Monsoon for over an hour and our entrees still were not delivered. About 30-40 minutes after we arrived a neighboring table sat down, ordered and received both their appetizers and entrees. I HATE complaining, but at this point I thought our server may have forgotten to ring our entrees in. My husband checked and this is indeed what happened. Needless to say management was apologetic and comped our meals. We will certainly return since we also have received wonderful service. I think this time they may have been a little too busy."

"What a great surprise this place was. Stumbled upon it when going to the pinball game room and put it on my list to go back to and I'm sure glad I did. The food is so good! Perfect spice, perfect flavor and perfect portion sizes. We had the appetizer sampler platter, chicken curry, chicken tikka masala and chicken biryani. The server first bought us a salad and a plate of pita. The salad was interesting, some veggies with what tasted like ranch dip in the center of the plate. The complimentary pita is so good. I've never been to an Indian restaurant that offers free pita. We were the only people in the restaurant surprised by that because I heard another family call the server over to let her know they hadn't ordered pita. We started with the Himalayan special appetizer. I enjoyed everything on it, but one thing that looked like battered and fried paneer. Not sure what it was, but just left that on the plate. Next we had the chicken curry, chicken tikka masala and the chicken biryani. The server asked what spice level and I was hesitant to say medium, because I've been at other restaurants that lessened the spice level and then it seemed like the flavor was just too bland. Not the case here. Not too spicy and still very flavorful. Oh yeah, we also had the garlic naan. So, so good! Their naan is light and delicate. Haven't had naan like that before or nearly as good. There was just one server, but she was attentive. Plus, it's a BYOB. We had enough food for left overs the next day and it all was just as good reheated. I'll be back again and again!"

"my family and I have eaten here often. eating is excellent with many vegetarian and vegan options available. it also has a beautiful ambiente and the service is always very good. my only complicity would be that if they go to dinner, the portions are a bit small and it is expensive for Indian food, especially if they (probably) don't even eat meat. "Looking for BOMB Indian food?! Then look no further! Natraj?s seriously blows all of the competitors out of the park with their high quality food. I came here originally because I was craving some chicken tikka masala. It?s hard to find food that packs serious value with quantity. While you can order entrees at much higher rates, they do have combo options you can take advantage of with the entrees that are already ready to serve and eat. Upon entry, I was immediately greeted and offered samples for just about everything I wanted to try. I knew what I wanted coming into it, but appreciated their effort in letting me try so many others. I settled on a 1-item combo which is only $9.99 and comes with rice and naan. You can also get garlic naan for only $0.69! Definitely recommend this as I regretted not doing so. The food is placed in a biodegradable container and plastic wrapped to avoid any spills during its ride home with you. I seriously appreciated that! I also appreciated that they offered to have sauce on my rice because I loooooooove the tikka masala sauce! When I got home, I inhaled the whole thing. I felt so bad that I couldn?t have taken a better shot of the combo meal because it just smelled so good that I did not want to waste any time. And that naan I was telling you about? DELICIOUS and such a huge portion! Seriously... what are you waiting for?! If you?re a fan of Indian food then definitely try this place out. I?m still full from eating the combo plate but I already cannot wait to come back for more!"
