"In the past, I ordered a baked sweet potato but received a regular baked potato when dining with a male companion; his order was exactly as requested. More recently, I ordered a salad and once again received a baked potato while my male friend got his correct order. During another visit with five other people, my meal arrived more than 15 minutes after everyone else's.
This waitress appears to know that a member of the party will hesitate to send back their meal, leaving the others to either wait while their food gets cold or forcing the person with the incorrect order to eat alone long after everyone else has finished. I am not the only woman discussing these repeated bad experiences at T.J.'s; it's a small town, and word gets around!"
