"I ordered here for mother’s day and it was actually gross, the pan fried noodles tasted like only soy sauce was added and the chicken tasted rotten. I paid $65 for 3 entrees and 2 appetizers and everything was bad. I’m disappointed and i also placed the order 35 minutes before coming and they still asked me to wait 10 more minutes. "This is our new local BYOB favorite. We have been twice now. The staff is very warm and friendly and the food is excellent. If you like well cooked food and are willing to pay for very interesting tasting beautifully plated food then this is a great place. We went twice and both times they were great even with diet restrictions. It's charming, casual enough to walk in (if you can get in!), But also a great place to visit friends and relatives, or to have a special evening or date. The Wayne area needed a place like this. We will come back in any case."

"My family loves China Cafe! The food is always amazing and the staff is great! We always order, either egg rolls and egg drop soup for each of us or the pu pu tray for 2, the combo fried rice (made extra spicy) and sesame chicken. The portions are great for sharing, they definitely don't skimp on anything here. Its a newer location, but Bing (the owner) did a great job making sure the taste quality of the food hasn't changed at all."

"Decided to try this place out since we always get fliers for it in our mail box. They are slightly more expensive then our normal place that is just a little further north on Peoria. The food was good. I had the hunan chicken. Their wantons were also good. They were different then I'm used to because it tasted like they had onion in them. I may be back if I don't want to drive to my normal place."

"First time going here, walked in and placed a decent sized order $110.00) and was told 40 minutes. On the expensive side and long side of wait times for Chinese food, but ok. Wound up waiting 57 minutes for food to come out. They seem to need more help. All that being said, all the food that we ordered was fresh and delicious. On the expensive side for the portion size, but I would definitely go back as well as recommend this place."

"The atmosphere was nice and the place was clean, but the food was quite dry and lacked flavor. Considering how busy they were, I expected fresher options. I have a feeling my chicken was slightly pink, but I don’t want to jump to conclusions. I tried the Hibachi for something fresh, but the noodles were tough and dry. Overall, I didn’t come away with a positive impression. My wife wanted to take her hibachi home and requested a to-go box, but they wanted to charge an extra $12 for that."

"I think the food is great! The service is good. I don’t know why people are complaining about it. Yes, the girl doesn’t smile or talk a lot. But do you expect her to? As someone who grew up with Chinese parents and worked at a small family business and I can tell she’s working for her family. I asked her and she said she’s in 10th grade. This kid is still in tenth grade while carrying this job. And she probably doesn’t get paid because it’s a family business. If you guys think your life is so hard because a waiter didn’t greet you with a smile then leave. Honestly, she does what she needs to do. She just asked me for my order and gave me my order. No problems. She does her job. ??‍Anyways, loved the food! They also have many choices! There’s a lot of vegetarian dishes for people!Vegetarian options: A whole menu for vegetarian dishes! Very convenient for vegetarians."

Recently, after a disappointing encounter with a DoorDash driver, Mannen impressed me with their exceptional customer service by offering to remake my entire meal just before closing time. "To make matters worse, it was Christmas, and the girl taking our order was yelling while my husband and I were waiting for our food. She didn’t seem to know what was going on with our order and even lost another customer’s order. It was a sad experience overall—they really need to hire a new staff. "So I ordered from Yummy Bowl and it's been about 2-3 years since I've ordered take out or dined in. Have driven by and it always appears like they're closed or no one seems to be dining in, so it seems sad since I've had some fond memories of this place. I ordered delivery this time and the food was just plain...how can I put this...um, not good...at all. I'm being generous in giving two stars bcoz an older delivery driver was so nice and apologetic for being a bit late (which he wasn't). I wanted to order safe things so we ordered their veggie egg rolls which from memory was really good. Not this time. The egg rolls shrank and it was kinda tasty, but not really. Ok they sucked. Mongolian beef was ok but was more onion than beef and def needed more flavor. The fried rice was also lacking in flavor and soy sauce. The worst dish was the chicken egg foo young. Wtf?! It was 3 patties of greasy fried egg and in a separate container was the chicken pieces, bean sprouts and gravy. It was like a deconstructed egg foo young and didn't work at all. A total throw away, right in the garbage disposal!! What a complete let down. I'm sorry but I didn't lose my sense of taste during COVID thank God but I cannot recommend this place. I'm not gonna tell you this was a DO NOT RETURN place bcoz it probably won't last the year. So sad."

"This restaurant is always amazing whenever we go. The cooking is always spot on, entertaining and worth every penny. The portions are huge so I always have a to go and lunch for work. Great place to take kids because they do things like a volcano and train with the vegetables while cooking and some of the chefs even catch eggs in their hats. Sushi and hibachi in one sitting can’t be a bad thing."

"A little disappointed in this restaurant. Very excited to go out to dinner with my friends and have good sushi but it did not measure up to my expectations. I had an appitizer which was delicious but i order two sushi rolls for dinner on was the Azie roll which was delicious but the shrimp tempura was not the best. It was put together very nicely but the shrimp was no where near fresh. It was chewy and tasted like it had been fried the day before. Also the service wasn’t good. I had an empty water glass for most of the meal after asking the waiter twice to please refill it. Unsure if I’ll be back here anytime soon."
