"Not bad for a no frills rib shack!. My husband and I recently relocated to the area and live down the road from Shane 's. We definitely love our Southern BBQ and are always anxious to try out new places.<br/ <br/ We went there the other night to give them a whirl and it was very typical of a rib/BBQ shack...no frills, just how we like it! The prices seemed in-line with normal BBQ fare, but the portions could have been a little bit larger (especially with the sides). We both ordered the BBQ and I had the mac 'n ' cheese and fried okra. My husband ordered the baked beans and fries. The BBQ was pretty good...very flavorful and definitely worth getting again. The mac 'n ' cheese was phenomenal! Definitely my favorite part of the meal, which is probably why I was disappointed in the portion size! The okra was good, but a little too salty for my liking. My husband really liked the baked beans and the fries weren 't any different from any other place!<br/ <br/ All in all, it was very good and we will definitely be returning, especially since it 's so close to home! It 's definitely not our favorite place (we hold that spot for Jim 'N ' Nicks) but a good representation of true Southern BBQ. The service was also very good....great staff, friendly and it was a clean place!"
