"I recently dined at Bombay Spice and I must say, it was an exceptional experience! The restaurant is definitely one of the best Indian restaurants in the area, if not the best. The vada pav was hands down the tastiest I have ever had in all the NJ restaurants I have eaten in. The flavors were rich, authentic and perfectly balanced.What really stood out to me was the excellent presentation skills. Each dish was beautifully arranged and garnished, making it not only visually appealing but also appetizing. The restaurant has an excellent ambience with painstaking attention to detail. The decor is elegant and inviting, and the atmosphere is warm and cozy.Furthermore, all the items we ordered were incredibly tasty. "I booked this location for my son's third birthday and had 150 guests. I was absolutely amazed by the level of service and quality of food. The owner Tony was great and very accommodating and took care of all the details. We had a very detailed menuand Tony took time out to make sure that every thing was taken care of. I have had India and Pakistani food all over NJ andthis was by far the best experience. Better then any restaurants in Edison or Jersey City. I have no idea where is the negativecomments are coming from, seems like the person had a personal problem with the owners. As far as I and my family areconcerned. We loved the food and the service. "Green Chili has the best tasting comfort curries you will find anywhere. Hands down the best I’ve had including authentic spots in Europe. I have tried the Tikka masala, butter chicken, saag, tikka mughlai, vindaloo and dum murgh and all are all top notch excellent. The naan breads are amazing as well especially the potato one. The recipes are amazing and the cooks make it consistent every single time. The service is excellent as well very nice and friendly. Best Indian spot hands down."

"The $18 buffet lunch at this restaurant is a great deal considering the high prices of individual dishes at most other places. The potato and garlic soup was especially fantastic, and the chicken gravy, mutton masala, and chili chicken were also delicious. The dessert was a hit as well. The atmosphere was pleasant and the staff were very polite. Plus, there was free street parking for two hours. Overall, a great experience. I would recommend trying the Lamb Rogan Josh, Tikka Masala, and Garlic Naan. Service: 4/5, Atmosphere: 5/5. Lunch per person costs between $10 and $20."

"I had an extremely disappointing experience with takeout from this restaurant, and I can confidently say it was the worst Indian food I’ve ever tasted. I spent over $100 to treat a few guests for my birthday, and I was left feeling embarrassed. The food was not only unappetizing, but it also tasted like it had come straight from a can and was well past its prime. It’s hard to believe this place is still in business. Remember, first impressions matter, and this one was anything but good. The meal may have arrived piping hot, but the flavor was truly off-putting. I strongly advise against eating here!"

"I ordered Curry for my son while he was quarantined w/COVUD; however, I needed to speak w/someone in the kitchen to ensure NO dairy would be added. If you go to their website there is an option to chat w/someone regarding your order which is quite unique during this day time. The person reminded me that they are closed in the afternoon opening at 4:30 PM, but they'd have the chef or someone from the kitchen call me. That is EXACTLY what happened. I spoke to the manager who made suggestions of entrees my son might like based on his preferences AND medical needs. We also discussed the differences in the levels of spiciness. This was a unique experience. Although there wasn't enough broth juice in the food for him, he absolutely LOVED the flavor profile, the suggestions and support. Knowing he wouldn't be risking eating something he's highly allergic to made me much more comfortable ordering on line. This restaurant really goes out of their way to ensure you have a great dining experience. I'd suggest giving them a call. I look forward to visiting the actual restaurant."

The waiter was exceptionally friendly. The Lamb Kourma was my favorite dish. Dessert was on the sweet side, but delicious. However, the bathrooms were in a strange location and not very clean. Also, we had to ask for the water to stay at our table when we got our drinks."

"I came in to pick up an order. The order was not ready. I asked how long and was informed that it would only be about 3-4 minutes. I waited 10 and came back in only to be told again that would be an additional 5-6 minutes. Then when I asked the host why he didn’t just be honest with me about the wait times, and he told me that since he doesn’t make the food, it’s not his fault. I stayed to him that instead of giving me a lie, he could have simply said he didn’t know or go to check. Instead, he said whatever and now I’ve been waiting over 15 minutes. I’m currently writing this review inside the restaurant and I still haven’t gotten the food. There’s is literally 1 customer in here, already dining. Terrible service if nothing else."
