"During our visit to New Orleans there we numerous places we could have lunch but chose to dine at M Bistro at the Ritz Carlton. The ambience and food preparation was very good but the service was very disjointed and servers require training and refinement. I would recommend that the the floor manager be retrained or fired. Our appetizer was served with our entrees. However the entrees were served incomplete. One without the soup portion of the soup/salad and my salad was served without the salmon which I requested medium rare but when arrived was prepared cooked well done after a 15 minute wait. The servers have a kind and positive attitude but need training and support from management to get them to the Ritz Carlton service standard. The hotel is beautiful!"

"Great little hidden gem! Only complaints is that I ordered calamari and never received it, we were told we would have to wait quite awhile to get a ceasar salad because there was only one waiter and he had ceasars to fix for two other tables AND it was freezing in there! Food was excellent and the wine list is extensive. Will definitely revisit in a couple of weeks"

"So my son and I watch the food network and Tom Colicchio has always been someone we watch and admire. My son has always made things Tom has done. We were excited to go to his restaurant for dinner. Upon arriving we were greeted by a lady who at first seemed bothered but then snapped to and helped us to our table. We were seated and quickly helped by David our waiter. He seemed to be rushed and no interest in talking much but explaining things in a rushed manner. He left the table and then FABIO (the star of the show) who brought us water and that amazing bread helped talk us through the menu and selections. I ordered the oysters, a basil Hayden and my son a drink called I doubt it….. upon Fabio suggestions we ordered the salmon and short ribs. Crispy potatoes and the corn. During the wait for our entree we waited an extremely long time while others around us were served promptly and David the waiter checked on them often. Our waiter seemed bothered by working with us while watching him cater to others heavily. Our food was perfection once arrived. The short ribs were amazing and salmon was made perfectly. We then had the monkey bread dessert Fabio suggested and he hit the mark again! While our main waiter David didn’t take care of us Fabio did and the chefs were amazing. I will be back to try the tasting menu and will make sure I don’t receive David as our waiter ever again! He made our $400 meal almost not worth it. Fabio and the chefs made up for his lack of service."

"I visited the place in person to talk about my bday and the hostess made me change my reservation from staying downstairs the whole time to having me in a table upstairs. I respected the place decision and agreed with her. servers were rude because we would catch up and wait for invitees before placing an order. It was my bday and had a lot to catch up with my friends. then it just happened that not everyone was content with the options on the menu, so we ordered appetizers. the server was rude again because, for my birthday, I decided to have ice cream. the funny thing is that I specifically chose the place for having soft serve on my bday. the server was rude throughout the whole service and that made me uncomfortable at my birthday celebration. It was very disconcerting to get his blunt rudeness during the whole service. It made me ashamed of hosting a party for my friends and the servers were hating on the table. very uncomfortable and unfair. if there was something wrong with going there for my bday, they should have said when I visited the place to talk about my bday in person after making my reservation online. not understandable and frustrating. not cool at all."

"we have a lot of food and wanted a new place for our jubilee try buccan has really high reviews. I was asked twice if we would eat there for a special occasion, once after the reservation, and once they confirmed. yes, it was a special occasion to our jubilee! excited to find out what they would do for us since it was our jubilee. it was completely ignorant, however, what only disappointed me, as they certainly noticed it on our reservation. ambiente was very loud, wait staff very busy, eat well, but all unusual. I’m sure they find something “for dying” on the menu, but we went with our waiter options and were not terribly impressed. we saw the $80 ravioli on the way out and it looked delicious! just a little too expensive for my already expensive taste. had high expectations, but remained disappointed."

"We went to San Francisco to hear Neil deGrasse Tyson speak at the Orpheum and stayed at a Best Western just two blocks away. The hotel recommended three close by restaurants and we looked up the menu of Triptech and thought the food sounded delicious which it was. The site is small, vibrant red walls, original art work and hanging swaths of material, very entertaining setting. Our food was delicious: crab cakes, lobster ravioli, pear, blue cheese salad, mushroom soup but the only miss was they were out of the chocolate dessert. We had a gingerbread cake, loaded with whipped cream which was good, not great. The owner and server were both very friendly and we will return the next time we come to see a show at the Orpheum."

"I am very surprised to hear how disappointed people are about this restaurant. my first trip was about 4 years ago and my husband and I thought eating was very good. the best chicken-cheese salad I've ever had! I don't remember time problems or worry about the waiting staff. my second trip was yesterday with my lazy while my man had a job meeting. I was very glad to drive the city and see that generations were still there. again the best chicken salad of all time! we sat outside, great weather, great people around and great eating. our server was very attentive and friendly and was able to answer our asking about the things on the menu and what they were made. defines a stop that I will agian!"

"Bliss is a great location for theater-goers, nearby hotel guests and locals going out on the town. So why was it so easy to get a reservation for Saturday evening when every other restaurant in town was booked between and pm? My guess is that prior diners had an ok experience as our party did. The host was friendly but seated us at a table that was not set completely for guests. He should be more attentive in seating guests... from taking bar orders, since he sat at the bar most of the night going through his cell phone, to making sure that the single candle on the table needed lighting. The waitress was young and uneducated about the menu. She needs more training. Confidence will follow. Cheese board was disappointing in presentation and freshness. Drinks were excellent. Entrees were superb. The chocolate torte, more like a brownie with ice cream, was surprisingly delicious... a taste of that was perfect for me. The creme brules were not the same. One was spot on. The other, eh. Kudos to the Chef and bartender. A more seasoned house staff should make for a more pleasant experience, customer loyalty and pumped up sales. I'll give Bliss another shot... perhaps sitting at the bar. The food is worth it."

"The most reason why I'm here is this place is dog friendly restaurant. I took my spoiled puppy with me on a small vacation trip so everywhere I go. They welcomed me good. In the summer can be hot so the table under the shade isn't a lot so ppl is a bit afraid to bring their dog close to my table. But we were able to manage 3 dog tables to be sit close by and be peaceful. Mostly work credit to dogs owner not a restaurant staff. Service was just ok, I had to ask for water and stuff but they gave me everything I asked for that was fine. Food was fine. Overall, this place is good, if you travel with your pet, this restaurant is one of the places you can bring your fido to."

"This place is so cozy in cold evenings. The atmosphere inside is welcoming and the cute holiday decorations give it a beautiful touch! There are also seats outside for warmer weather. I saw a drive-thru for if you also order and pick up online. We went the classic pepperoni that comes out so fresh and hot that I'm ready to burn my mouth for the delicious bites? the pizza is also loaded with peppermint. You're not afraid of blows! The crust comes in some areas slightly burned, but this is wood fired pizza, it is expected. Don't let me eat it and taste is not lost. You come with tray from desserts, so you can see what you buy before you choose. We chose double chocolate cake and for $10 that's worth it. We shared it and STILL took home. Very dense and rich cake. Honestly, all desserts look amazing, it was hard to choose. 2 non-alcoholic drinks (cooking products), 1 pizza, 1 dessert was to share $33! Sure we're going back! Ps... they have wine!"
