"I hunted to eat vegetarians and found this place on the look for a typical restaurant, I was surprised not only to discover that there is a food truck, but a food truck in a gas station parking all places. I circled around the tank and reassessed the situation, and then I decided to do it, and wow I am glad I did. the seasonal veggie dish was fantastic. there must have been a dozen different ingredients there, with a lot of taste and textures, and there was a large selection of drinks in the tank store. while I enjoy my meal at her picnic table, I have the fact that I spent five times as much in a raised restaurant in the night before for a fifth of the experience. this place has character, authenticity and quality, all within about fifty square feet."

"Elias is the OG of Middle Eastern food near UCR. This place is an institution. After bugging one of the employees for suggestions, I was informed that the beef- Shawarma and Kofta are must-haves. Sadly, they were out of both , so we went with the 3rd Place option: the chicken Shawarma. The dude behind the register suggested I try it with spicy garlic sauce regular garlic sauce inside my sandwich. It was an absolute game changer. Please order the chicken sandwich with the spicy garlic sauce. Also, you get a free drink if you check in. The environment is homey, like your favorite neighborhood kebab shop. Also, you can't argue with service that need you to better food suggestions."

"He asked if I wanted my Lamb Saj “super sized” he said more lamb and more tzatziki sauce. Well it looks like I got more Lamb, but not more sauce.. the ratio makes it not dry, but less appetizing because you're just getting large bitefuls of Lamb. I enjoyed the flavors until I got to the second half, wishing there was more sauce. We also got another thing “super sized” but we don't think it came with any extras because it was a standard portion.. so definitly feel a little scammed. He never state … – show"

"The food had great flavor and the potential to be perfect. However, the combo plate includes no sauce so the meat is dry and crispy. Also, there is just one half of a slice of pita so what are you supposed to do with the big side of hummus? With the richness of the meat and rice, this meal needs acidity to balance it out. So maybe skip the hummus and include more vegetables like onions and tomatoes. Oh, and sauce PLEASE add some moisture!!"

"I really like the concept of this restaurant, the decor is adorable and the atmosphere is great. The server/bartender was friendly and had a good attitude. However, I did have two complaints. Firstly, the hookah was very weak and kept moving the coals, which eventually fell on our table. This had never happened to me before and I was unsure of what was wrong. Secondly, when we first arrived, we scanned the menu and saw that green tea shots were listed for $5 under cocktails. When we received the bill, the shots were actually $9 and they said the $5 price was only a special for St. Patrick's Day. This was unclear and felt deceptive to me. Additionally, I was not aware of the automatic gratuity, which was disappointing. Unfortunately, these issues left a bad impression on me."
