"Even though this Moes is closer to home I will also be going to the Florham Park Moes. On Feb 11, 2023 my family and I decided to go to Moes for my birthday dinner. I had a $5 reward to use for purchasing Christmas gift cards and also received a free burrito birthday reward. After our 4 meals were rung up I attempted to use both these rewards. I was told that the computer would not process both rewards so I asked if they could ring up the orders separately. They attempted to use my birthday coupon on the burrito after my family's meals were paid but couldn't because the computer would not allow me to use 2 rewards in a day. The rude worker told to come back some other time to use my birthday meal. My favorite is Quesada but thought I would try a burrito since it was offered free. Since they were making me pay for my birthday meal I asked if I could have a chicken Quesada. The food preparer told me NO, I already made you a meal. I couldn't believe that they preferred to through the burrito in the garbage then give it to me as a birthday meal since their faulty computer system didn't allow me to use a $5 reward on my families meals and a birthday meal for myself. We also ran into an issue with this place in the past when for a catering order which the web site allowed us to place for a Sunday when this place is not opened on Sunday. The person who we spoke to about this issue was not very pleasant or apologetic. I had to call them a couple times about my refund which took over a month. We realized that this place was closed on Sundays the day before our party. The Florham Park Moes was very accommodating. Their food and chips seemed to taste better and fresher."

"This restaurant experience was extremely disappointing. The staff was rude from the moment we arrived. They forgot to give us our drinks, and when my brother tried to grab the cups we had paid for, he was scolded by the cashier. When I politely asked for better treatment, the cashier mocked me. When the fountain machine malfunctioned, my boyfriend informed another staff member, who responded rudely. My father confronted the staff about their behavior, but they continued to be disrespectful. Despite this, the new lady who made my food was very kind. When my father asked for a manager to assist with the machine, he was met with even more rudeness and vulgar language from the original cashier. When my father attempted to take a picture of her, a large man from the restaurant threatened him. I then intervened and was threatened as well. The manager threatened to call the police if we did not leave. I left, but my father stayed to wait for my cousin who was in the bathroom. I cannot fathom treating customers in such a disrespectful manner. I work in a much busier food business and would never behave this way towards customers, no matter the situation. It is unacceptable that this behavior has not been addressed before, and I will be contacting corporate to report this incident."

"The McDonalds of “Mexican” food is what Moes is. Let’s be real here. Only come here for Moe Monday’s as I can’t see paying full price ever for any of their menu items. It checks my craving for. cheap burrito on Mondays when I feel like eating bland chicken and Americanized fixings.Place is also a pigpen every time I’m here. Trash, food, liquids are constantly all over the floors and tables seems like it is nonstop and the staff seems to not care. Trash is always piling up and spilling out of their trash bins. Customers just seem to throw stuff on the floor since it’s just convenient.Place needs to be thoroughly cleaned and maintained…. Seems to be so dirty every time I’m here which is like maybe once a Month if that.Managers need to tighten up and get this place cleaned up."

"I recently ordered catering from Moe's and was very impressed. The online ordering process was simple and convenient. When I arrived at the restaurant on the day of the event to pick up my order, everything was beautifully packaged and a staff member helped me load it into my vehicle. The food was delicious and there was plenty of it. The only thing that was missing was napkins, paper plates, utensils, a serving spoon, and tongs. Overall, it was a fabulous experience and I will definitely use their catering services again!"

"The girls working were super sweet but I don’t understand why they do the ticket system seems doing it the normal way would be much faster. And I waited over an hour for my Crunchwrap thingy and there was no queso barely any steak on it it was super sloppy and burnt : they definitely need to figure something out because the current system isn’t efficient for the employees or the customers. People kept ditching their tickets without saying anything so a bunch of food was wasted made the wait longer for everybody else. If they have to do it that way, I would suggest shutting down the orders when it gets that backed up. Felt so bad for the employees. Not a good experience. "I got a salad bowl with chicken and other stuff. Chicken was a wide range of overcooked/dry to properly cooked, though not really seasoned..Word of warning: their plasticware is NOT rated for salads. By the end most of my fork tines were broken off(despite me trying to be careful)..Most of the soda machine was empty, despite us being there before the dinner rush..Visit was ok' but definitely not what it used to be..Also, they seriously need to rethink how their trash system works. Which is to say...it doesnt. 1 can by front door with only a hole on top too small to fit their current bowls is awful."

"I usually avoid leaving negative reviews, but my experience at this restaurant was quite disappointing. There were five employees on duty, and I was the only customer in line, yet the place was in disarray. The area around the food stations was dirty, with grease and remnants of food scattered around, which is quite unappetizing. It's essential for them to maintain cleanliness in such areas. I also observed one of the male employees throwing food at a coworker multiple times, which is unprofessional. Another worker remarked that the guacamole looked like baby poop, further indicating a lack of decorum among the staff. While the food itself was tasty, the restaurant seriously needs to improve its cleanliness and address the behavior of its employees. Since food is served in front of customers, maintaining a clean environment is crucial."

"I recently had the pleasure of trying Moe's Southwest Grill for the first time and was pleasantly surprised. It's similar to Chipotle but offers a wider range of options for customizing your burrito or bowl. The rice and chicken were particularly flavorful and had a delightful hint of spice.The staff was incredibly helpful, answering my first-time questions and suggesting some must-try items. They offer five signature sauces, and my personal favorite was the chipotle. The ambience is comparable to Chipotle, but the prices seem slightly higher. However, I believe the quality and quantity of food justify the cost. One bowl is easily enough for two people to share.If you're looking for an alternative to Chipotle, Moe's Southwest Grill is definitely worth trying. "This store is by far, the worst run store in the area. I have lived by or worked near, and dined at at least 7 locations in this area. None of them offer worse customer service and make mistakes on their food more than Indian Trail.On literally EVERY occasion, this location forgets items or makes the food incorrectly on mobile orders. It is impossible to have any confidence in our meal unless we stand at the line and watch them make it in person. I can’t always go in person, and I shouldn’t have to go in in order to get my order correct when I’m paying a $5 delivery fee, almost $2 in additional fees and a tip to a driver.If I pick up at the stand, I ALWAYS have to ask them for my drinks because they never have them (or even the empty cups) with my bag. I always have to get my own salsa because they never include it (even though my order states to include chips and red salsa with EVERY item). I always have to open the bag to check for my queso because if I just ask, the staff lies to me, and then I get home to find no queso in the bag. I have ordered an actual burrito only to get it home and find a bowl instead but with the sticker on it that says “BURRITO.”I am irate at these constant failures. I called to ask for a full refund tonight because I’m tired of having to always go back for my food or ask for the stuff I’ve paid for, or I just flat out accept the error. I’m done doing that. Veronica. (The MOD) hung up on me twice tonight while I was voicing my complaint. I asked her to call me back when my refund was issued and she refused. She expected me to continue to call her daily until I received it (she actually told me to call her back, this wasn’t implied, it was actually said). Oddly enough, she’s also the employee noted as the one who made my order tonight (and the one from December where I received a bowl instead of a burrito).I will NEVER go to this location again. I live in the neighborhood across the street, but will drive out of my way to patronize Chipotle or Q’Doba from this point forward and I will be sure to review this location on all reviewable platforms."

The portion sizes can vary greatly depending on the person serving you and their mood that day. The beverage machines often run empty late in the day, and the restaurant gets very crowded during lunch hours. The staff is friendly and genuine, and I've had many enjoyable conversations with them. Overall, Moe's Southwest Grill offers a decent menu for a quick meal, but timing is key—you might end up waiting a long time in line or missing out on drinks if you're not careful."
