"Absolutely awful! Stay away from this establishment! The food is disgusting, the interior is dirty, the service is extremely poor, and they engage in questionable practices when processing card payments. The owner and manager here are the rudest I have ever encountered. On two separate occasions, they added over $50 in unauthorized charges to my credit card. When I tried to point out the error, the manager actually cursed at me.
The cleanliness of the interior, kitchen, and restrooms is appalling, and the menu mainly consists of fried food or items straight from a can. I recently made the mistake of giving them another chance due to their proximity, but after ordering greasy frozen fish, I was left waiting an additional 45 minutes for a plate and silverware. The waitress completely ignored us, choosing instead to flirt and drink with the table next to us. When she finally brought me a fork and plate, my fish was cold and unappetizing.
A few days later, I discovered that the waitress had charged drinks from another table to my card. This has happened to me twice in recent months at George and Dragon, and a friend mentioned they experienced the same issue. When I went in to talk to the owner and manager about my concerns, they dismissed me, claiming not to care about the long wait and my payment issues. The manager even cursed at me—it was unbelievable. No one offered an apology or showed any concern for customer service.
In short, with many great bars around, there's no reason to waste your time or money here. There are plenty of friendly places that will truly appreciate your business and treat you as a valued customer. There is an excellent Irish pub just down the street that is a thousand times better than this place."
