"I ordered the miso shabu-shabu with an upgrade to A5 beef ribeye for about $50. I originally intended to upgrade to A5 wagyu for around $30 but mistakenly told the waitress the wrong thing when she was explaining the options—oops! The ribeye was quite thin and buttery, and it tasted best when enjoyed with some of the soup. While I’m glad I tried the upgraded meat, I’m not sure it is worth the extra price.
I also ordered chicken karaage and takoyaki. The karaage came in several bite-sized pieces, which was nice. The takoyaki was okay, but nothing special. We arrived close to closing time, and the staff were very accommodating, still serving us with a smile. I truly appreciate their kindness!
I would definitely return if I’m in the area to try their non-upgraded meat or sample different broths, just so I can take some of that porridge to-go!"
