"Booked an early dinner, wanted to check this place out for a while. Having read some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant, but we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, the bar was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad, which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Burger was really good, two patties cooked to order, they brought fries instead of the sweets, but they corrected the mistake and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Would have been better hot. The salad was fresh with two big strips of bacon. Overall the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant was between fair and good. Might give them another shot, but wouldn't rush back."

"I have visited this small hidden gem with my family twice and both times we had a wonderful experience. The staff is incredibly friendly and respectful, especially the owner who is caring and sweet. She ensures that all customers are well looked after. The Mediterranean food they serve is authentic, always fresh and delicious. My family and I would give them a perfect 10. The prices are very reasonable and the portions are generous. I have no complaints about them. If you are in the area and craving halal, authentic Mediterranean cuisine, definitely give them a try."

"I visited this place last year for lunch and the quality of the food WAS amazing. Today I went for dinner and I was so disappointed. I don’t understand if the administration changed but the food was really bad. I ordered beef shawarma and got fajitas. The meat was over cooked not tender. My friend got kafta and it was dried with no flavor. I paid $190, after adding 20% tips without knowing that they included 20% for service without even asking me or informing. So ended up tipping 40% without being aware. I’m not going back!"

"I went to this restaurant for a group dinner. We started with Orange Juice, but it seemed to be made from juice powder. We waited for 45 minutes or more to receive our food. The taste of the food was average. The ambiance was nice with plenty of seating. The service was okay. Overall, it was a dine-in dinner experience with prices ranging from $20 to $30 per person."

"The place was surprisingly quiet, which should have been a red flag considering the massive festival happening right outside the door. The situation inside was chaotic; we had to remind the staff multiple times to bring our drinks. The food was disappointing, especially given its low quality—it felt quite cheap. When the servers took away our plates, they attempted to wipe down the table while we were still sitting there, leaving a half-cleaned sauce on the surface. We then waited far too long for the bill, despite being the only other customers in the restaurant, apart from what seemed to be the owners."

"Our family enjoyed the outdoor seating and the waiters did a great job of quickly pushing other tables in when it was raining out of the blue. We were under an umbrella and a big tree and didn't have to move and the rain stopped quickly. Our teenage kids weren't in many nice restaurants and they loved the creative starters, especially the homemade croutons on the Caesar salad, delicious! We all had very good meals and were too full for dessert, which is unfortunate because I have eaten the chocolate bread pudding with baileys before and it is divine! There are so many tasty options and we enjoyed the scallops as well as the duck, key lime chicken and the flank. You can't go wrong!"

"I visited Mama Ayesha?s for a friend?s birthday and it was a great experience. The food and ambiance were great. Every dish had the perfect amount of seasoning and flavor. We went on a Tuesday night, and there was only one other party dining while we were there. Overall, the experience was great besides our waiter who was a bit rude. He walked away from us while we were ordering on multiple occasions which rubbed me the wrong way. Either way, it?s worth a visit. We"

"We had an amazing lunch here! I got the Veggie King platter for my main because I wanted to try all their Mediterranean staples. The hummus and tabbouleh salad are not to be missed. I was also wowed by their Turkish coffee which is like a spicy espresso with heavy floral notes. SAVE ROOM FOR DESSERT- this place is a bakery firstmost! I got the pistachio (curd thing? Pictured) which was simply amazing and had fresh raspberry filling. Lastly, service was delightful and everyone was really nice."

"Pro: The service was quite good and our servers were attentive and kind, keeping our cups filled and offering suggestions for the various menu items. The warm chai tea was very welcome in the cold restaurant. Con: The temperature inside the restaurant was extremely cold and the booth chairs weren 't very comfortable. The three people at our table enjoyed the lunch even though the spicing wasn 't as flavorful as it should be for authenticity. The menu did warn that it was American spicy . Big Con: The mandatory 20% service fee that showed up on my tab left me feeling betrayed at the end of the meal, as I did not see it posted in the menu or anywhere else. Nor did our server mention it. Subsequently, I see other reviewers mentioning the con of the 20% mandatory service fee, but for dining parties of four or more people. Never the less, it wasn 't mentioned or posted where it was noted by us until the final statement was delivered to me for my signature. It was notable that mid week lunch for three people cost as much as our normal food budget for the week."

"There were two men preparing the food and one of them was unmasked which was kind of surprising and has resulted in a four, rather than five star rating. As of February 28th masks in Illinois are optional, but it is not that day yet. On the other hand, the work surfaces looked clean and neat, the floors were clean and the drink cabinet was clean and orderly. No unpleasant odors and no signs of insects was always appreciated! Our cheeseburgers and other food were very good. We will continue to have food from this restaurant delivered or we will pick it up ourselves when we feel safer being out among unmasked people."

"that is a great place for Mediterranean food. it is overcrowded during lunch. there are many seats in the open, but the restaurant fills up quickly for lunch. eating is phenomenal. I had the chicken salad that comes with two sides of her choice. I took hummus and lentil soup. it was delicious. the portions are quite large and a great worth. this restaurant also offers a good selection of gluten-free meals. they take gluten allergies seriously and they can be sure that eating is prepared without gluten."

"Was my first time there but definitely won't be the last. Made a reservation for a company iftar for 40 people and have to say everyone had a great evening. Food was great, the ambiance fantastic and service was exceptional. From the reservation experience all the way to the food selections till the end of our gathering all went smoothly as planned and without a hitch. Thanks to Rami and all the others there for making this a company night to remember. "Chef Z was extraordinarily personable and very friendly with us. Our first time in we were pleased to see how lovely the interior was. The food was fresh and flavorful!! One suggestion/wish was the mint tea actually came in traditional chi glasses pot of hot water like they do in the Mediterranean_ mine was in a western-style teacup. It had fresh mint so, yeah it worked. The gyro my husband had was lacking meat to filling ratio (dinners be warned) but tasty. My dish was super delicious. All in all, we will be back to discover and try other entries."

"We all love a good Indian and this place was perfect. Their vegan options were great. You have a choice from vegetables or tofu in your Curry. The vegan Curry is marked on the menu. The food was delicious and I will definitely go back. It wasn't expensive either."

"If I could give 10 stars I would. Everything from location, views, decor and signature Kempinski service, was impeccable. There is a ton to do in the area but we would not have known if it were not for the help from Alanoud and Lama at the concierge. They named the best restaurants, shops, transportation, etc. — it was a completely personalized experience. Emmanuel and his team are wonderful hosts and made us feel at home. I would also highly recommend paying Jalal and his colleagues a visit at Il Vero — best Italian food ever!"

"This was our first time trying Aladdin’s. Unfortunately, today’s dining experience left us disappointed. We had high hopes as we really enjoy Lebanese food, and many reviews online seemed praiseworthy. Pros: the gentleman who greeted and seated us was very friendly. The salad was nice. The tea was enjoyable. The hummus was good, even though the portion size was small. These items weren’t amazing, but they were fine. It is worth noting that prices on the menu have increased from what is listed online. Cons: the food quality was really lacking. The shawarma was extremely tough and dry and excessively oily. It tasted as though it was leftover from a previous day and recooked again resulting in the meat being absolutely saturated with oil yet so tough and dry. It was so greasy and so tough. It honestly didn’t even taste like shawarma. Very disappointing as the main dish. The rice was also very very dry and disappointing, and again the portion of rice was so small. The meal portions were VERY small for $16 each. Overall, the pricing was steep given the small portions and most of all the quality. Regarding the atmosphere, the restaurant is dated and a bit run down. The bathroom is very run down and needs a deep cleaning as well as renovations. Maybe it was an “off day.” However, our greatest issue was how expensive it was for small portions and especially for such poor main dishes."

"I visited this restaurant on a whim late on a Sunday evening. I was looking for a simple, fast meal, but was pleasantly surprised by the amazing Middle Eastern cuisine they offer! The homemade dishes were delicious, the service was quick and friendly, and the prices were reasonable. There were plenty of great vegetarian and vegan options to choose from. I tried the hummus supreme, vegan eggplant moussaka, lentil soup, and mint tea, and all of them were full of flavor and absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place!"

"In our visit to Taste of India Seattle, the overall dining experience left us with mixed feelings. We sampled a variety of dishes, including the Lamb Boti kebab, coconut chicken curry, plain nan bread, mango chutney, and mint chutney. The lamb had potential but fell short in terms of spiciness and tenderness. The veggie stir fry lacked the standout flavors we were hoping for. On the brighter side, the coconut curry boasted a rich and indulgent taste, with tender chicken that was perfectly sized. The nan bread was sizeable but typical. A standout was the refreshing mint chutney, which added a burst of freshness to our meal. It was disappointing, however, to learn that the mango chutney was not house-made.Turning to the service, we were pleased with the attentive and accommodating staff who readily fulfilled our requests, earning a 5/5 rating. The added touch of a complimentary pistachio dessert was a kind gesture, but unfortunately, it didn't meet our freshness and taste expectations. Overall, our dining experience at Taste of India Seattle deserves a 3/5 rating. While the service was impressive, the food quality and flavors were a bit inconsistent."
