"Shine is the perfect Lincoln Park go to. It's one of my favorite walkable sushi places in LP, Toro is always insane with the waits and it's over-rated. Shine also has a much larger menu and selection of cuisines. The staff is so friendly and the service is quick too."

"The food at Ebisu is absolutely outstanding! A friend who used to live in Inner Sunset recommended it to me. This was my first official sushi experience in San Francisco after enjoying the best sushi in Los Angeles for over 13 years. I sat at the sushi bar and had the pleasure of meeting the owner's son, Eric, and I honestly didn't want to leave! Although I don’t usually try new things, all the classic dishes here are executed flawlessly: the ebi, albacore, and salmon sushi, as well as the gyoza. However, the standout dish was the black cod appetizer, which rivals Nobu's famous version. You definitely don't want to miss this! I can't imagine finding better sushi in San Francisco!"

"the first time I went here, they were out of my lo and we got spaghetti as our noodles for a very expensive meal. the second time, we waited 2 hours after our reservation, before a cook came to our table, we were told that we could not order sushi or appetizers, and had one of the most rude waiters I've ever spoken to. I'm not going back a third time. I understand that many restaurants are underused, but if it's so bad, they shouldn't be sitting. would have been better to tell me that I can't make a reservation than that we come into her restaurant and have a terrible experience."

"The worst owner and the service. Food is average but over priced. I've been there a few times and I am pretty sure the the owner is a racist. He asked us to pay with cash because the machine had broken but I saw when that he took a credit card from the table next to me and they were Caucasians. At the very first time I thought I'm overthinking or I'm too sensitive, but next time I had a very similar experience which is related to related discrimination. The Japanese owner say hi to only white. Even he is an Asian. This is so funny. Even some of my friends have similar experience. Their food is not bad, but not that great but the owners attitude was very unpleasant. There are a lot of good restaurants over there, so I recommend not to go there. It's not worth it."

"Yes, it is a revolving sushi bar but you do not have to eat off of the belt. The food is always fresh and tastes great! These chefs know their sushi and how to build a good roll. We mostly eat what is going around on the belt because it is easy. The staff here are always friendly - I have never finished a drink without someone asking if I need a refill first. I have been here many times with friends and family and will continue to go here many more times."

"Delicious, good portions and value for money $8.50 for the dons . Tempura included the delightful surprise of a shishito pepper a rare spicy one at that! which is not often found elsewhere. It is proper well executed tempura. Pork katsu was also very commendable for the moist thick cut. At lesser eateries katsus can be hard and rubbery. We were glad for the one set of chairs and table set up outside for us to scarf our food down before it got cold. Maximum social distancing with no one else being able to eat alongside, if you're lucky. Note that there's 4% card service charge so pay cash instead."

"The food here is excellent. They have very many creative vegan options including sweet potato! They usually have the tuna belly which is fantastic. They always come to refill the hot tea. The hot summer roll is AMAZING! I can't stay away from this place because of this. Even when I come in right before they close at 10:30pm and order, the staff is always very friendly. The chefs are also very nice and happy to answer questions."

"It's too bad. I came on Saturday at about 12 noon and there were 3 seats at the sushi bar and two tables open and the greeter told me there were no seats for me. The single diner at the end of the sushi bar had already ordered and was eating and he told me 2 other people were joining her. And he said that the tables were reserved. I went back to my car and took a phone call and over the next 30 minutes one couple left and one couple entered.It's too bad. There food is very good, but I will never be back. I guess the greeter does not understand the life value of a customer. Who knows, maybe it was the owner."
