"The restaurant's ambiance and decor are beautifully Japanese-themed, creating a pleasant dining experience. We ordered the chirashi bowl, a 12-piece sashimi platter, nabeyaki udon, and sukiyaki combo with beef sukiyaki and tuna roll. The portions were generous for the three of us, so we enjoyed the raw fish dishes first and packed the remaining food to go. The miso soup served with the nabeyaki udon and sukiyaki combo had a delicious broth, possibly the best miso soup I've ever tasted. Additionally, it came with a side salad.
The chirashi bowl and sashimi platter were fresh and delicious, with the sushi rice in the chirashi bowl standing out. While the salmon was great, the texture of the tuna was a bit off, according to my mom and her friend. The nabeyaki udon had a non-salty broth that was so tasty, I couldn't get enough. The vegetables and chicken were flavorful and seemed to be of high quality.
Unfortunately, the beef sukiyaki was too sweet for our taste, so we took it home and added more noodles and vegetables to balance out the sweetness. Overall, our meal at Azuma in Cupertino was satisfactory. Despite being located in a somewhat unassuming plaza, the restaurant has ample parking and offers an enjoyable dining experience."
