"I've been coming here for several years now. This is my local go to spot. I always have a good time. In the winter they have bands on weekends inside. There's a full bar, high tops, and a dining room in back. In the summer the bands are outside on their patio. They have smoking and non smoking areas for seating out on the patio. There is also a new VIP lounge outside. Call ahead to reserve. I'm not sure if there's a charge. Ellery's does have an outside bar with seating in two places. If a popular band like Squad 5 is playing you need to book a reservation way in advance to get a table. It gets so busy when certain bands play the wait for food can take an hour. I ordered their Southwest Cobb Salad-Mixed greens topped with diced avocado, shredded cheddar cheese, hard boiled eggs, black bean salad and diced chicken breast tossed with a southwest ranch dressing. the dressing is delicious and comes on the side, I always get extra dressing. I love this salad it so good. As a matter of fact, I ordered it for lunch on a Friday and then went back the next day to see Squad 5 and ordered it a second time. I also enjoy their burgers. They offer 5 different kinds. My favorite is the Original-It comes on a Brioche Bun, with Lettuce, Tomato, Red Onion, American Cheese, Mayo on the Side, and Pickles. The Cheeseburger is a nice size and cooked to order. I usually get Sweet Potato Fries. They have Weekly Additions to their menu that are always changing. Ellery's does Catering. They can accommodate 20-120 people. The servers are all very sweet and nice. They do their best to accommodate everyone. The same with the bartenders. There is free parking in their lot. It is small so you might have to park on the street or park down the block, or across the street. On Tues nights World Tavern Poker hosts Poker Night 7-9 pm. On Thursday Nights Only they offer Slow Cooked Prime Rib. Happy Hour is Monday- Friday from 3-6 pm. Ellery's does have a few handicapped parking spots. Parking: There are two parking areas. The main one is on Mountain Avenue. It does fill up quickly and there is parking behind the restaurant in the back when those are both filled which is often you have to park on the street or across the street or down the block. Wheelchair accessibility: There are two handicap parking spots in the main parking lot off of Mountain Avenue. There is also parking in the back but not handicapped parking"

"Kasey's offers a cozy and casual atmosphere. Both parties were held in a private room behind the bar. The first party was on a weeknight, and the bar and restaurant were quite busy. The party room was equipped for a DJ, although the seating felt a bit cramped. During the cocktail hour, we enjoyed a selection of hors d'oeuvres. My favorites were the paprika-spiced cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, and olives drizzled with balsamic vinaigrette, as well as the buffalo chicken, which had just the right amount of heat without being overwhelming. The meal started with a lovely salad. We were served a selection of four different dishes, some of which aren't on Kasey’s regular menu. I particularly enjoyed a shrimp dish. The cake was decent but not particularly memorable—I can't recall the specific type of cake, filling, or frosting. The service was attentive, though a bit slow. About a week later, I returned for lunch. This time, there was no DJ or dance floor, and the tables felt much more spaced out. There was no cocktail hour; instead, lunch was served buffet-style, featuring penne a la vodka, rice pilaf, beef teriyaki, chicken cordon bleu, and a salmon dish, alongside salad and dinner rolls. The highlight was the dessert: a chocolate cake filled with cannoli cream and topped with whipped cream, which was absolutely divine. Since I’ve only been to Kasey’s for these two events, I can't speak to their regular menu. However, given my positive experiences at both parties, I’ll definitely keep Kasey’s in mind for future visits to Rockville Centre."

"I’d been wanting to try for a while. Our friends were visiting from out of town and wanted Sunday brunch so I thought this might be a nice spot in the Gables to try out. Reservation was easy to make and the hostess even texted the day before to confirm date, time, and party size which was great. My friends arrived minutes ahead of the reservation time and were told that the restaurant could only accommodate our party of at one cocktail table which made dining there difficult due to extremely limited table space. Hostess was advised we’d be eating brunch, not just drinking, but still, the of us had to squeeze around the one cocktail table Plates and silverware were removed completely from our table shortly after we sat so when the Mac and cheese came out, we only had one fork and could not share the appetizer. When we asked for and were given more plates and silverware sets, we were admonished for how limited our table space had become when main dishes came out The food quality was overall good except for a snafu with a burnt pancake which, thankfully, the dish was removed entirely from our bill. This was much appreciated. However, the numerous limitations on the “brunch” food and drink menu made it a more unpleasant experience than it needed to be. Every time we asked for the rest of our dishes we’d ordered, we were told about yet another menu limitation. E.g. my friend ordered the Eggs Benedict and was only served the Benedict and house salad. When she followed up on the potatoes which the brunch menu clearly states “topped with a hollandaise sauce AND oven roasted potatoes AND a house salad,” she was told it was EITHER potatoes OR salad. was a hit and a miss for us. Our experience could’ve easily been a great one, making us want to visit again for brunch in the future, had it not been for the unbearably loud music (we get it, it’s a bar in Miami), the inconsistent food quality, and the inflexibility of some staff members."
