"I ordered food from this restaurant for delivery, but they refused to deliver to a neighbor who works just a quarter mile away. When I called to inquire about my order, they yelled at me. This is despite the fact that I have helped them in the past by filling their ice machine with 20 bags of ice. It's disappointing that they can't show the same level of service when I'm paying $77 for a meal, plus tips. Marketplace, please make more of an effort to serve locals better. We really enjoyed the food, but unfortunately the service was not up to par. Service: Delivery"

"In the old town of Monrovia opposite the theatres lies this small eclectic find is a fantastic taco bar! Margaritas with Tajin on the rim come classic, mango, strawberry or pomegranate. All are very refreshing. The Street Tacos are full of taste and only the right amount of food. Lucky The Hour menu also includes a Kobe Slider with Pepper-Jack, Queso and Chorizo. A short-Rib Quesadilla, Ceviche Tostada or a Tempura Shrimp Taco. Are you hungry? How about a Mediterranean chicken dish with avocado, feta cheese, cucumber, calmata olives, brown rice, served with tahini and balsam sauce or enjoy a Blackened Salmon Taco with cut avocado, roasted Chiles, corn salsa, Slav and Crema. Enjoy the bar and music, or eat on the outdoor terrace and people watch foot traffic, or larger parties can enjoy their meal on the back outside the terrace. Service is friendly and you are almost sure to meet a friend. There are parking spaces on the street if you are lucky or park in public parking at Lime Street on the back of the police station. Up and down Myrtle and search in shops. There is a handmade ice store two doors down for a bathroom of cooling before you return to the car. Farmers Market is on Friday from 5:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. if you so wish before or after your visit to Sena. Sena is one of my personal favorites."

"If I could give this place 10 stars I would. We used Cobblestone for our wedding reception dinner on Saturday 10-14-23. We had 23 people (including us) and had the Bourbon room reserved. Liz, the owner, was nothing short of wonderful to work with. It really never felt like work organizing this reception. She was quick to respond via email. It was all such an easy, stress free planning process. She allowed our cellist to play (low volume) in the room which really took our dinner to another level. The food was absolutely amazing and delicious. Our guests ordered off the menu. Every guest loved their entree. Karen our lone server was SPECTACULAR! One woman with 23 peopleI don’t know how she did it but we all felt taken care of. Truly have never seen such service from one server. Liz too stepped in to refill drinks and I thought that was very cool. All in all, Cobblestone is a favorite Zville restaurant of ours and now it holds an even more special meaning. I would recommend Cobblestone to anyone looking to reserve a room. Our wedding was so memorable and we are so happy that it was a part of our big day."

"I visit this restaurant frequently and usually enjoy the atmosphere in the main dining area. Unfortunately, this time our service was extremely disappointing. For instance, we were never offered a refill on our water. There were two of us, and we ordered five margaritas, yet our server barely checked in on us to see if we had finished our drinks. There were many small issues with the service that added up. I left a 20% tip, not because I felt the service was deserving, but because I was concerned that a lower tip might be seen as me being cheap rather than reflecting the poor service we received. Overall, it was a letdown."

"????? Is the biggest description of my meal here. I called at 5:45 to make a reservation. It was confirmed. I showed up for my 7:15 reservation and they said I needed to wait for my table so I was put at the bar. (No big deal but weird start) I then ordered my food. My appetizer just did not come. I was then given an decent pasta dish at best. Then I was told my appetizer is done and will be out. Then when I asked about the appetizer I was told it was taken off the menu? Why wasn 't that stated when I ordered it. Then they told me they can check and see if it is ready. ???? Then it came and it wasn 't great! It was just a confusing experience. I just was constantly wondering what was going on. Cool environment though."

"The Copperhill restaurant on Long Island NY is one of the better spots in the area. I've eaten here about five times. The food is always solid, although the menu is VERY limited with only a handful of choices. Definitely get the bread, it's delicious. The drink menu has some variety, but could be more innovative and exciting for the prices charged. The one thing that blemishes the experience is the restaurant's pace. Items come quickly and sometimes the appetizers overlap the main course, making you feel rushed. I'm not someone who lingers at a table when the meal is finished, so I was somewhat surprised that after maybe a minute after returning the paid bill, they started shooing us out the door. This didn't just happen once, but three of the five times I was there, indicating this is their policy. It's not smart to ensure long-term customer satisfaction."

"Went for a quick Sunday afternoon escape, but I think I discovered my new favorite restaurant! We got a couple of glasses of wine and their smoked salmon crostini....then I started looking at the rest of the menu! Everything looks so amazing! We're definitely going back for dinner. If you sit outside, there are a lot of cars slowly driving by and a fair amount of exhaust fumes. I would recommend making reservations. The only reason they didn't get 5 stars was theservice. The hostess forgot to give us menus and our waitress was so busy, she forgot to come back for the check. Other than that, great experience! I'm hopeful for an upgrade to 5 stars on my next visit!"

"Our dinner at Boveda was fine until it was time to pay. We were a party of and expected the normal gratuity to be added to the bill. However, the manager brought over the bill and asked us whether we'd like the gratuity to be either or We found this completely off-putting. Then, when we received the bill it was very confusing--it looked like the gratuity was added twice so we had to ask the manager for an explanation for that. Finally, we were a party of and spent over and noticed that they had the nerve to charge us for extra orders of chips to go with our guacamole and queso. We had only asked once for more chips, which they didn't bring, so we asked again. We did not get orders, only order Food was good but these things really put us off. We will not return."

"The old design of the building made the restaurant really cozy and the choice of music was good. When we enter the restaurant, I immediately went straight to the lady at the bar thinking she was the receptionist, cause the door was facing straight to the bar and the receiving area was at the very corner of the right side. The lady bartender, told us that the receptionist will attend us shortly. We were ushered to the table and shortly after a waitress came. Service was ok. We ordered bruschetta for the appetizer, it was good, I loved it, but has too much toppings, it affected the crunchiness of the baguette. For the main course, I ordered for the meatloaf and ceasar salad and my husband had forgot the name of the food) a sandwich with some kind a pulled pork with fries. Meatloaf was a big serving but it has less meat more on fillers breadcrumbs), not the best meatloaf I had. The salad was not fresh. Total experience was typical."

"My colleagues and I had reservations at 12 noon and were seated straight away. As the Burmese restaurant is in the area, we really looked forward to this experience. While we were in no hurry the restaurant was. Drinks were ordered and they urged to have a meal order at the same time. We wait to order the food until the drinks have been brought to us. We ordered the Burmese beef and goat stew as well as the Moh Hin Ga (fish noodle soup). The sauces on the meat stews were good, but not spectacular! The stew was definitely not tender. If you like tough meat then these dishes are for you. In addition, the Moh Hin Ga lacked taste and, in the words of my colleagues, "I would not order it again". Also soft drinks and iced tea and refilled for free. Given the rush and subpar experience, won't be returning. Given their great Yelp reviews, it seems like there are plenty of customers out there who like it. Maybe we only visited them on a bad day or the normal cook wasn't around that day ..."

"Went this past Saturday August 31st to see if what folks say about this place is true. I was by myself and was added to waitlist shortly after my arrival as they were a little busy and was told it would be a 20 to 30 minute wait. I asked for recommendations of the hostess while I waited and she was friendly enough with replies but didnt make me want to try one entrée over another. My table was ready about 10 to 15 minutes later. I was seated and began looking over the menu. Server came by in a few minutes but never introduced himself. I ordered Strawberry Lemondrop Martini, garlic fries, side Caesar salad Smokehouse Chicken sandwich and Pineapple Pomegranate fizz. I had asked my server for his opinion on items I was interested in and he was honest about food choices which as a 1st time patron, I appreciated. Shortly after ordering, my cocktail was brought to the table. The drink was so full that the stem and base of the glass were wet from overflow and spillage; only after I asked the server was a cocktail napkin provided. I need to add that there was also no napkin placed under my sweating regular drink glass. The appetizer and main meal were not brought by my server but someone else from my recollection. It was not necessarily busy, but someone else brought my main meal. Just kind of dropped it off. I was not impressed by the worn out wooden trays the food was served directly on, Gross! No one checked on me to see if I needed anything throughout my meal, though my server seemed to be making rounds at his other tables. But he didn't check on me until I was finished and ready for the check. Garlic fries were tasty enough but I would rather they had been served on an actual plate not a wooden tray that obviously had seen better days. The fries with my sandwich, again served on a worn out wooden tray, were somewhat of an afterthought; several small hard overcooked pieces. Chicken smokehouse sandwich was tasty and well seasoned. Portion size was good, I had to cut it in half to eat was so large. I had no room for dessert though they sounded (albeit mass manufactured) delicious. Overall, this is a nice place with decent food but I was not super impressed. Didn't get dessert as I said. As food was filling there was no room and I was not interested in taking any home. I will most likely visit again, for the opportunity for the service to impress and to try some of their other entrées, thiugh i will ask for actual plates in lieu of wooden serving trays."

"I have had so many wonderful experiences at Market Place in Shelton but last night something was off. Sat at the bar with a friend. At least 10 mins went by before we were waited on for a drink or given menus. Ordered drinks and apps. Took another 10 mins before we had our drinks, 15 mins or longer for one app, and the other app never came. No silverware or napkins were provided and we could not get our server’s attention, so we had to steal them from another table. Never came over to ask us if we wanted another drink or anything. The food was good but terrible service. The bar tender did apologize and took the late app off of the bill."
