I usually go to Mitsuwa marketplace in Arlington Heights, IL but sometimes last summer there would be a line and you would have to wait so long and then on top of it if you run out of imported Japanese rice it's a first come first serve so they don't call you back at Mitsuwa. Do try their fresh sushi also it's very good compared to what Mitsuwa Market has. Mitsuwa Market is a much more larger conglomerate since it's somewhat Nationwide but I like this place better and I had seen a billboard advertisement before about this place and last year was a bucket list. I was very pleased or happy to discovering this hidden gem Japanese grocery store when there's no other alternative around the Chicagoland area in Elk Grove village near a strip mall between Arlington Heights Road and Higgins Road. If you're also looking for Japanese authentic ingredients or products this is another alternative place to go to beyond popular Mitsuwa Marketplace. I was impressed and liked that they take the extra mile when you're looking for a particular item when they're out of it in stock they actually call you back. They go above and beyond for service.
