"Everything I ate was just tasteless . I asked my dining companions for their opinions to assist in my rating of this place because I personally don 't think it was quite as bad as a 2 but everyone else had a pretty strong opinion and it was not good. We ordered from this place for dinner because my companions wanted Mexican and I wanted to try something new. I appreciate the vegetarian menu section and three of us ordered the vegetable fajitas. One of us ordered a grilled chicken burrito. For some extra oomph, we ordered some apps: guac, tostones, and fries. I noticed that the description for the veggie fajitas did not include rice or beans but what remotely legitimate Mexican place serves fajitas, or anything no less, without rice and beans? I figured this was a given and hoped for the best. One of us actually wanted a bean burrito without cheese but there is no option to make any requests when ordering online through DoorDash. The food came within a reasonable amount of time. I was literally ravenous when it came and tore open the container that housed the guacamole. It seemed pretty standard to me at that time but one of my companions, who is such a **** for avocado she literally eats one like an apple every day and I 'm not exaggerating, didn 't like it and thought it was tasteless . This is probably the first time in my life I 've witnessed this person NOT wolf anything avocado down. The tostones were very good, no complaints there. The fries were also enjoyable but soggy and underdone. The person who ordered the grilled chicken burrito says it was just ok, it wasn 't nearly as good as the other place we order from, it didn 't have any beans with it! and the chicken was a little sparse. The veggie fajitas. Oh lord, where do I begin? Firstly, the veggies are green peppers, sliced onions, and some zucchini with no seasoning that I could detect whatsoever. They also included three puny, tiny tortillas which is not enough. Also included was some lettuce, salsa, guac, and sour cream but literally no rice, beans, or cheese. Another dining companion points out that what was provided did not warrant the prices.Another companion just added, maybe the chef was out sick lmao. The meal was very disappointing."

"I've been coming to this restaurant for over twenty years, and the quality has always been outstanding. The Chile verde nachos are a must-try; the flavor is incredible! If you're dining alone, I recommend ordering a half portion because the full order is so generous that it's nearly impossible to finish it. I’m excited to explore more items on their menu, but I’ve always been so satisfied with the nachos that I’ve never ventured beyond them. Casa Garcia has been a staple for my family; we've been loyal patrons even at their previous location. Thank you, Casa Garcia, for your amazing service and consistently excellent food!"

"Guasaca recently added a vegan option to their menu for their arepas, along with a vegetarian option. Despite speaking with two staff members about vegan and gluten-free options, I was not informed that the arepa bread contained dairy. As a lactose-intolerant and gluten-intolerant individual, I became sick after eating it. After checking their website, I discovered that the allergen information did indeed list gluten and dairy in the arepas. Despite reaching out to multiple locations and messaging the company on Facebook without receiving a response, I left a negative review on their Facebook page. The marketing team eventually responded, acknowledging numerous complaints from gluten-free and celiac customers who had also fallen ill. In mid-September 2019, the company issued a formal apology on social media, admitting that their staff had provided incorrect allergen information. They advised customers to rely on the website's allergen information rather than staff recommendations. I also raised the issue of the vegan option with their marketing team. If you still choose to eat at Guasaca, I recommend sticking to the salads or rice bowls."

"This is one my favorites places to go to when I’m in town. The Durham location is my absolute favorite , they do no wrong lol however this location was nasty. They have a 87 sanitation grade and I see why. They are sliding the arepas back and forth on that white slab instead of someone slicing the arepa open and then handed it off to someone . The white slab was filthy of course. Bathroom was nasty and out of items . The air vents looked like they haven’t been cleaned in years and trust me , I wasn’t even looking for it , if you look up you see how bad they are . Super disappointed in the cleanliness of the place."

"Usually, I get their grilled chicken breast signature areas, gluten free and with extra spinach. Cilantro and garlic sauce and sometimes baked plantains. They always mess up the sauce order and this time I found 3 hairs in my food. Dark, short and curly hairs. Words cannot express my disgust. That was from the downtown Raleigh location. Sooo, will not be getting their food ever again."

"The best place to eat in Durham! Oh my gosh, I absolutely love this place! The prices are reasonable, and the establishment is clean. The service is friendly, and I was really impressed! They should definitely consider opening a location in Fayetteville when they build the new baseball stadium; it would be a fantastic investment!"

"We showed up last night for dinner with a group of six of us. The food was good and the service was great. If I could make one recommendation, I would say that you guys are using way too much salt on the food and especially on the tortilla chips. We we’re not able to finish the chips because they were so salty. Please keep in mind that everyone in our group likes to have salt on our food and the tortilla chips, it was just overkill. We would still recommend anyone enjoying drinks and food at Chihuahuas."

"I waited over 45 minutes while others were served. After observing several customers receive their orders, I asked the staff about mine. It turns out they served someone who had just walked in. When I inquired again, the staff member told me my order would be ready in five minutes. However, I overheard the cook, who seemed to be the only one working, making snide comments about how long my order was taking. He responded to my query with a rude and condescending tone, indicating that he only had two hands to work with and that my concerns were unwarranted. It became evident that they were selectively polite to certain customers while neglecting others. I was left waiting for over an hour, while those who came in after me were served promptly. I questioned the staff about the delay yet again, and the cook's rude demeanor only heightened my frustration. I couldn't believe how disrespectfully he spoke to me; it’s unacceptable for a customer to be treated like that. I plan to report this to the Better Business Bureau. If you’re considering dining here, I would strongly advise against it. There are much better options available, like Tony’s Tacos. After this experience, I couldn’t even trust that the food would be made properly. I wouldn’t be surprised if the cook had ill intentions after how he treated me. I requested a refund, but I am unsure if they will process it—I'll find out tomorrow. Please choose your dining locations carefully; no one deserves to be treated poorly, especially for simply asking about their food. I left feeling disheartened by how some customers are treated today, which is precisely why I prefer to cook at home. I’ve never encountered such rudeness in any dining establishment before, and until I experienced it firsthand, I never imagined it could happen."

"Very good food and very nice service. It is regular fast food where the items are individually prepared and then combined as you order it so the service is very quick. The worker who made my food was also the same guy who checked me out. He was veryfriendly and helpful and didn't mind my extra questions since it was my first time there. After I made my order, steak andshrimp burrito, I had to walk along with the production as he asked me what I wanted on it and what proportions. All of theindividual ingredients were plenty tasty, and combined it was a very good burrito. I was most surprised by the size and amountof shrimp included with the burrito, very nice for the price which is reasonable for the location in DTLA. It is located onelevel below the street level at 4th and Fig shopping center. They have counter service only with seating inside at the foodcourt or outside at the Plaza area. My only complaint is that the burrito was so full, there was no way to pick it up and I hadto eat it with a fork."

"I was at a friend's house craving Chipotle and stumbled upon this place instead. It was incredibly flavorful! The portions were generous and really filling. I'm actually kind of upset that there isn't a location closer to me because it's way better than Chipotle. I got just a bowl and a drink, and with tax and fees, it came to $20, which is cheaper too! I’d give it a 20/10; even the leftovers tasted great cold!"
