"I have never eaten at Maria's. I had a long work week with a lot of success and decided to order food through Grubhub. I went through tons of options and nothing sounded good. Then I saw Maria's Mexican Restaurant. The reviews weren't stellar but the dishes looked delicious so I decided to take a chance. Of everything on the menu the Mexican Ribs looked the best! I ordered them. The delivery got to my house. Once I picked up a rib and the meat fell off the bone I was surprised. Taking a bite the meat was tender, juicy, full of awesome flavor... but the sauce... the sauce was amazing! I loved every bite of those ribs! Some of the best I've ever had! The lettuce, tomatoes, beans and rice were also amazing and very fresh! I would highly recommend them after this experience! The service was also prompt and accurate in both filling the order and in delivery timeframe!"

"My family loves Jalisco Cafe, Bonita. First stop for our out of state visitors. Everything is good. Favorites are Enchilada Suiza, Quesadilla Ranchero Deluxe with Carne Asada, Chile con Carne Burrito Grande. Absolutely the best Chile Rellenos I have found anywhere. Out of state visitors freeze a lot of the delicious Jalisco Cafe food here and fly it back home with them, it is so good!"

"There were six of us. Our waiter acted like he understood just enough English to get by. Appetizers and alcohol were good. Our dinner order was difficult to get across to him. We didn't have enough silverware, napkins, or water and they took forever to get. The hosts dinner, green chicken enchiladas, was served 15 minutes after everyone else and it was wrong having mole sauce instead. He has anxiety issues and doesn't like to make waves so he ate the wrong dinner w all of us telling him to get the right thing. He just didn't want the hassle. It was not the happy birthday celebration we had all hoped for."

"the service was terrible, the staff is rude and careless. if they are asked about a court, they will be rude and use a word answer. they look as if the customers were a bit worried and I just don't want to be here and hate their job. the food was nothing to write home, had definitiw better eating and service of taco bell. the interieur is dark and gloomy, hardly a lighting, they had music in the background. the music was drowned by children who shout and scream, and the staff laugh and scream. Actually, a star is too generous, they earn zero stars. completely unsatisfactory, terrible first time experience in this restaurant. will not return to the future unless a new restaurant takes it place."

"Today, when I called to place my order, I spoke with two different staff members who both informed me that they wouldn't compensate me for the queso because I hadn't called immediately after the incident or because I didn't have a copy of my receipt. Although I do have a credit card charge that shows the amount I paid, I still didn’t receive the queso. It shouldn’t be difficult to see that I didn't get what I paid for. Additionally, my parents have encountered several issues with missing items from their orders as well. While I generally enjoy the food at El Porto, their customer service leaves much to be desired."

"It 's been awhile since we 've been to a Carlos O 'Brien 's. We used to go to the one on northern but it was torn down years ago. So we decided to see if this one was any goodWe were seated immediately. Our server was pretty good. He was very attentive and helpful. I knew things weren 't going to be good when I tasted the salsa. Both the mild and hot were horrible. That 's usually an indication on how good the food will be. Ordered the steak fajitas and a cheese quesadilla. The quesadilla was greasy but decent. Would have been better if there was good salsa. The steak was tasteless. The rice was tasteless. I was beginning to think I had Covid. Lol. But then I could taste the guacamole which was ok. Needless to say we won 't be back. We all ordered different things and we all had the same opinion. Not good ."

I find them to be pretty spicy, but they do offer a mild option (though I typically go for the chorizo, which might explain the heat). "I really don't understand the 3.8-star rating on Google. Alberto's serves the best burrito in Salt Lake City. They use genuine avocados, the meat is more flavorful, and the tortillas have a hint of sweetness. It's the perfect blend of fast food and gourmet. "This is for the Camas, WA location but since both restaurants are owned by the same people I'd be wary of either. WARNING TO ANYONE WITH A SEAFOOD ALLERGY (fish/ shellfish) OR ANY OTHER SEVERE ALLERGY OR DIETARY NEED On August 2nd 2024 around 2:00 pm my sister and I were visiting the town this restaurant is in and decided to give it a try. I have a severe allergy to seafood but have never had an issue with Mexican food. We walked in to a mostly empty restaurant and immediately the woman serving had an attitude. She brought out salsa, chips, and beans. Before eating any I let her know I have a severe seafood allergy and wanted to know if I was ok with everything and if there was any fish in the sauces etc. She again had an attitude and said no bur even do what most servers are trained to do which is double check with the chef. It sent off alarm bells in my gut which I should have listened to but I’ve never had a reaction to chips and salsa so I decided to forgo getting a main plate due to not trusting the waitress but would munch on the chips while my sister ate. Two chips in I started to cough and could feel my throat itching. I waited about 5 minutes to see if my symptoms progressed and they did. I had a thought that maybe the chips are fried here (not used to that) and in the same oil as seafood. I went back up to the waitress who was talking with some guy and said “I’m sorry to bother you again but do you fry the chips with any seafood?” And she goes “Yes shrimp.” Panic started to set in as I knew I had to act quickly to get to some kind of medical help in a new town I don’t know. I went back to tell my sister who jumped into action and told the woman we had to go to get to a hospital. The woman acted irritated almost as if she wanted us to still pay for food my sister hadn’t even gotten yet and when my sister tried to explain this is an emergency she acted confused. As we ran out she yelled “It was Shrimp!” I ended up having to administer an epi in the car, rushed to an urgent care then an ambulance then to the emergency hospital where I spent several hours. Our day was waisted and my life was put in danger by this negligent restaurant. Again, if you have a severe allergy or any dietary restriction I would highly caution you eating here."

"One of the absolute best places to eat! I go almost once a week. Literally EVERYTHING is good here. Potato tacos, rice, beans, taquitos, taco Tuesdays, ceviche, salads. Everything tastes homemade. The chile rellenos are fabulous! They have smaller ones (made with Anaheim chiles) and giant pasilla chile rellenos. I think it's family owned. It literally tastes like when we visit family in Mexico. If you're in the area, you must stop in!"
