"I have eaten at this restaurant once a week for the past four weeks and in my experience any review complaining about the poor service does not adequately explain exactly how atrocious the service actually is. The good: The food is fantastic. Evenings, in particular when cooler weather is here, are a wonderful time to sit outside and enjoy the live music when it is available. I presume he is the Owner but the older gentleman who appears to do a little bit of everything is great. The bad: The service is atrocious. Of the four dining experiences so far only once did I have a server who appeared to have a basic understanding of what even an average level of service is and in all honesty he was above average. The other three dining experiences, and two of these occasions there were ten tables seated or less with at least four servers that I counted, were terrible. In each of the three referenced poor experiences each server apparently believes that once they drop off your chips, take your order and bring your food that they should never check on you again until you desperately flag them down or ask the manager or another server to find them for you after waiting twenty minutes for your check. No checking to see if you require a refill of drinks or chips or if your meal is good. You no longer exist once you receive your food. The food is wonderful and the atmosphere is nice but absolutely not worth dining in until they either find or train a waitstaff that understands the bare minimum of service that should be part of a dining experience. 2/5/24 Edit: I order food out weekly but dined in for the first time in two months. I don't know where they found him from but Leandro was our server and did a fantastic job. Hope the rest of the service staff can learn to match Leandro's quality and the great food."

"I arrived just before closing time, feeling very hungry, and the staff was fantastic in continuing to prepare food for me. On Wednesdays, they offer a special deal of 3 burritos with all the toppings for around $15, so I ordered all steak burritos which were generously filled and large in size. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, and I highly suggest trying them out!"

"I came here tonight to get some food with my Wife. We started off with margaritas which were sooo good. With chips and salsa for the appetizer. The chips were really good. You can eat them with the sauce or without(thats how you know its good lol) salsa had a good flavor as well. We had the steak Burrito and steak enchiladas for our entre and they were really good. The service was amazing. We will definitely be coming back."

"I’m not the biggest fan of their steamed tortillas, but they’re happy to grill them for you upon request. I also find their guacamole a bit on the thin side for my liking. However, I can guarantee that once you taste their salsa, you’ll be hooked. You'll forget all about the fire or diablo sauce from next door. Be sure to grab an extra salsa with a hint of habanero—you can thank me later! Enjoy a consistently great meal and don’t hesitate to say hi when you’re inside."

"My visit here was a bit weird. This place is around the corner from my mother in laws house, so decided to give it a try. An employee saw us walking up to the door and asked us if we were there for take out. I told him we wanted the food to go so hegave us a menu but didn't let us walk into the restaurant. He told me to wait outside while they prepared the ceviche we bought.I don't understand why they didn't let us in to wait for our food. The food itself was too salty. Another con to our visit isthe place only accepts cash. Definitely going to try one of the many marisco restaurants in the area next time."

"I recently visited Cinco de Mayo for a late night burrito craving with some friends. I had always noticed the place but never stopped by until now. Despite the long lines outside, the service was quick and efficient. I enjoyed their vegetarian burrito which consisted of avocado, black beans, rice, and sour cream. It was a good size for a great price of under $6. They offer a variety of options to choose from, making it a suitable place for everyone. The wait time for our food was reasonable and the quality was decent for a late night meal. The restaurant was clean and the food wasn't greasy, which was a plus. I would definitely consider coming back in the future."

"Loves this place for both dining in and taking out. They have the best Mexican around and it’s always fun to grab a pitcher of margaritas. You can tell that they use fresh ingredients and have a unique menu compared to the national chains. They also have daily specials so you can get deal on some food and drinks. My favorite to always get is the chorizo queso, it comes with warm tortillas and is out of this world. The food travels surprisingly well for Mexican. I expected the food to get soggy but it really doesn’t. They also provide plenty of chips and salsa like you would get at the table."

"Sit in here for 48 mins waiting on my food and I watch table fill and those people get served u asked the guy at the counter whats was going on and all he did was smile and say he was sorry. He told me, the way it works is all the fish is cooked together and big orders go 1st not who pays for their food 1st i ask how is that possible? What made me notice it is I seen a black lady sitting at a table outside waiting on her food when I saw the people ordering in front of mr getting their food and she still had nothing.
