"Mary Ann 's Mexican in Port Chester is such a lovely little gem. Their slogan is all homemade and you can definitely taste the truth in this! We sat outside in the patio/garden area that was quaintly decorated with string lights and flowers and enjoyed a nice breeze (not a great view, just the parking lot across the street) but regardless a very comfortable spot to sit. We tried their lobster guacamole tostada special (a steal for under $8) and it was delicious! The lobster was definitely cooked in house and well seasoned, guac was great! For entrees we tried the mini tacos which came on authentic CORN tortillas with a delicious cilantro crema that we had to ask for an extra BOWL of because it was so good! Drinks are fairly priced and not too sweet."

"We were looking vegetarian options in the Cape when we stumbled upon this gem of a place. Although small and not very fancy looking, this place serves some of the most authentic budget-friendly Mexican food. Vegetarian friendly options include Tofu as the protein substitute and pretty much all of the other dishes (such as tacos, quesadillas, etc) can be customized to not contain meat. We had the Tacos, Horchata and the Rice Bowl. Everything was fresh and loaded. The staff were extremely humble and patient. If you're craving Mexican food and are in the Cape, this place is a must try. We hope to be back soon!"

"Restaurant was closed due to a 49 on a health score. Reopened later with 85 (still bad)Doubtful many people know how health inspections are treated. Restaurants are supposed to be regularly inspected. Being that they got a 49 then they were forced to close and still unable to ascertain anything above a 90, with my experience in the food service, I would not walk in the door of this place for fear of disease. Several of the citations in the report were absolutely mind blowing, such as mold in the ice maker or dirty dishes stored with clean dishes and the one the makes my jaw hit the floor several employee hand sinks did not have soap or hand towels This means that for at least months at a time, employees were not washing their hands while working. Also taking the time to note here that one of the citations was employees working with bare hands with ready to eat food It is important to understand that it is obvious that not a single employee has ever been trained on food safety with all of these citations and another one to add to prove it there was no person with manager food safe certification on site No one who was trained by the state to understand food safety was working during the inspection. A person with this certificate is required to be on site during all hours of operation for Restaurants.I received Managers ServeSafe Food Safe Certificate in 2018"
