"My daughter chose the seafood gumbo, which was the special of the day. They do have a regular gumbo option on the menu, but not specifically seafood. Naturally, I had to give it a try, and I must say it was incredibly delicious! If I ever find myself back in Tennessee, I would order that gumbo without a second thought.
We also decided to take a chance and try the alligator bites appetizer since we had never tasted alligator before. I only managed to grab two bites, as my kids were eager to finish them off—what a laugh! The restaurant had a warm and inviting atmosphere but was also quite lively. I noticed many people picking up takeout orders, which is always a positive indication.
The hospitality and service from our waitress were outstanding. Despite the busy environment, our drinks were always topped up, and she checked on us regularly. We made sure to leave a generous tip for our wonderful waitress; she truly earned it. The meal prices were reasonable, and I would definitely come back."
