"Now, about the food. The garlic knots came fresh but lacked any sauce. While the knots themselves were tasty, butter or sauce would have made them much better—a hint of what was to come, it seemed. It felt like they were cutting corners from the start. When it came time to take our orders, they only asked for salad selections first, rather than taking the full meal orders all at once. This meant the server had to make multiple trips around the room. It was confusing and inefficient. As for the pasta? Yikes. It was clearly old and merely reheated. I suspect it had been sitting in the fridge for at least three days—something I recognize from my time working in a restaurant. They must have chosen this as a cost-saving measure for catering. I forked a penne noodle, and it split apart with no effort at all. The flavor matched that of leftover pasta—seriously, how hard is it to make fresh pasta for 35 people? On a quiet Sunday, it would take just a large pot of boiling water and eight minutes to cook some. It seemed ridiculous to use leftover food from earlier in the week for a catering gig. The chicken parm was also clearly old, breaded days prior. You could tell it was overcooked, with large air pockets when served, making it dry and unappetizing. It’s disappointing when someone pays what they perceive to be a good amount for decent food, and they receive something that resembles cafeteria fare. I recommend steering clear of this place. For just a bit more, you could dine at La Famiglia or somewhere comparable. The restaurant earned two stars solely because the service staff was working incredibly hard. However, the manager or owner seemed indifferent to our event."

"My guest arrive before I did, and informed me there was no host to greet them. It was shortly before 4 PM and two people were working the floor, the host that doubles as a server and the bartender, that doubles as a server as well. The place is small but really nice. We were seated at a table relatively close to the door, I wish they would’ve closed it because the draft was very cold and I couldn’t enjoy myself as much as much as I would liked due to being uncomfortable. I am anemic. The drinks are fantastic. I had a glass of the red sangria, and my friend had the local 92 refresher which has lavender in it. The food is very good as well; started with the falafel that we were tempted to ordered a second round of. Due to when we were seated the host had informed my dust we were still able to order off of the brunch menu, which was great to hear. They ordered the French toast and I got the lobster ravioli both of which were fantastic as well. My plate did get taken away prematurely while I was in the bathroom, and was rather disappointed to not finish my portions (my guest was under the impression that I was completely done so no blame to the restaurant at all for this) For everything we’ve got it was a little under $80 for the bill before tip which I feel is relatively reasonable. Would definitely go again, this time would hope to be placed a little further in the back if it’s during the winter just so I don’t feel the draft from the door."
