"We discovered this restaurant online while visiting the Chili area, and it did not disappoint! The food was fantastic, and we finished our meals in no time. The owner came out to check on us, and we both couldn't stop raving about how it was the best BBQ we've ever had. Keith enjoyed the ribs while I had the chicken. When we were paying the bill, the owner surprised us with a small bottle of his BBQ sauce and two caps featuring his logo—one in bright orange for my nephew to keep him safe while hunting, and a pastel one for me. Later, when sharing our experience with friends, they asked for the restaurant's name. "Jack's," I replied, and they instantly recognized it as the best BBQ. I can't wait for our next road trip in that direction to stop by again!"

"I absolutely love Mimi's Food! I order from them at least three times a week because I just don't feel like cooking after a long day at work. "I don't know what happened to this place. it is as if the personal tries to lead the place into the floor. that was our place before. for the high price they pay, they should at least dress with their salat. even if it kindly remembers, it still doesn't happen. the personal cannot follow the simplest instructions. the only consistency with the place is the order always confused. spend money elsewhere. we're eating the same as here. we have given them too many attempts where we think we finally get what we order. it's a shame."

"On 2/29 I ordered a small pizzas with spicy fries mozzy sticks my pizza was very undercooked and the fried food had a bad taste like the oil was dirty it smelled fishy . I called and who ever I spoke to said if I wanted a refund I needed to bring the food back but I dont drive and couldn’t take the food back. Hence why I had it delivered , X I tried to dispute it with my bank but id have to cancel my card and wait a week for anew one so that’s not an option or worth the hassle for 32$ , , so now im out 31.65 on food I didn’t even eat and had to throw away : who ever works the front is rude ."

"We went to dinner there at 3:00. There were no one for timing. It seems like it started in 1980 as a name board says. We ordered filled mussels, fish and chips, lobster roll. The lobster roll and the filled shells were okay. But the fish and chips could improve some taste. Food needs some time. But it didn't bother. The staff was good."

"I placed an online order through their website for $122 worth of food on 7 4 22 and received a confirmation that I could pick up the order at 3:30pm. After spending the time to put together the order for a household of 4 people, waiting 30, then driving to the restaurant, I arrived to find it was closed and had to return home to begin the process all over again for another restaurant. I called the next day after I noticed I was also charged for the food and asked how could I place the order and be billed by the restaurant when the restaurant was not even open. I was told I would have to wait a few days for the refund to be posted. No explanation. No apology. No offer of any discount on a future order for their mistake. Today on 7 11 22, I was finally refunded my money I will not waste time getting food from this place ever again."

"I visited this restaurant for the second time in just three days. I was initially hesitant to order fish at a place known for bratwurst, but the fish plate I had on Friday night was fantastic. Since I was working nearby tonight, I decided to try the squid, both the bottoms and the rings. Once again, it was a wonderful meal, and the fish portion was larger than expected, leaving me completely satisfied. The service was excellent as well. The woman at the counter was polite and helpful; she would excel as an expeditor in a high-end restaurant. Overall, a great experience!"

"I took some friends from Florida out to lunch at this restaurant. I ordered the jumbo lobster roll for $25.99, but it was far from jumbo. After all, how much can you really fit into a small hot dog bun? The clam roll, priced at $14.99, was served in a similarly small bun and had just five tiny clams in it. The order of onion rings for $7.29 was also disappointing; it was a small portion of overcooked, crumbly rings that weren’t even batter-dipped like we had hoped. To top it off, bottled water cost $1.99 each. It seems like the place makes a lot of money during the summer by taking advantage of tourists and visitors, which is likely why it doesn’t remain open in the winter."

"Great selection and spectacular food when visiting Round Two Pizza and Subs! I got the Large Buffalo Chicken Sandwich and a Large Cheese Pizza visiting them with the Sandwich being one of their highly recommended items! The chicken in the sandwich held its moisture with every bite and wasn't too spicy as well! The pizza is also a lot better than domino's. Not too greasy and had real, thick cheese to go along with it. The place to go in Jamaica Plains if you want that well balanced, mom and pop shop vibe!"

"Used to go to this place all the time, they switched owners and just had the worst experience as a customer! I ordered two grilled chickens salads for dinner around 6pm ending up finding a hair in one of the chicken orders, but mind you I didn’t realize there was hair in my food til later that night like around 9-10 as I I went to eat seconds. So now that place is closed because it’s late so I have to wait til the next day to tell them. I call them and tell them I found a hair in my food can I get a refund, they said yeah but I can’t do it over the phone you would have to come in. (Which is weird) but Okay thats fine I go over there(the next city over) and the cook confronts me pulls the actual hair out off the chicken and tells me it’s not a hair when it clearly is a hair…. Also says this isn’t their salad pretty much denying and saying this wasn’t there food lol horrible experience to only receive half my order refunded in CASH because they couldn’t find out how to refund back on my card… never going back sad to say but confronting a valued customer who has proof is wild to me smh"

However, I have to take away a star because I noticed that nobody involved in food preparation is wearing gloves or washing their hands. This is concerning in general, but especially so as I write this review in early 2020. If you have a compromised immune system or place a high priority on sanitation, this pizza place might not be the best choice for you. On the other hand, if you’re like me and can overlook those issues, the delicious food is definitely worth it!"
