"Having been in florida for the last decade I was extremely excited to go to a good ol' jersey diner again. The nostalgic feeling surpassed the food I remember as a young man. It was just OKAY. Maybe it would be better late night after a few drinks like I used to do. French onion soup was bland as can be, the French dip was bland as can be (had to ask for horse radish sauce for flavor) my lady had the gyro and zucchini fries. Idk why she ordered a gyro from a diner LOL clearly frozen mystery meat. And thr zucchini fries tasted like everything else out of the fryer. The regular fries were good. Prices were a little wild. All in all just okay."

"ONE AND DONE first time at the Beach House. The food was very mediocre and the prices ridiculous. My husband ordered the stuffed flounder, sticker shock at the bill, $53, really? For flounder? The chowder was too herby and we were in and out in less than 45 minutes. This was a one and done, sorry guys. Maybe we ordered the wrong things but we were not impressed, at all. Don’t understand the positive reviews."

"The Meatball Sandwich Platter I ordered was very disappointing. The fries were cold and there were only about 10 of them in the bag. The sandwich was just plain Italian bread, not toasted, filled with dry meatballs and no sauce. Even the peppers in the sandwich were dry. The portions of salad and fries were definitely not worth the price. All the hot food arrived cold, despite my location being less than 5 minutes away from the restaurant."
