"Hi! My name is Camille and I visited John’s for the first time today! I am not from the state of New Jersey. I was traveling and starving so as I was going back to DC, I saw this store and decided to give it a try! I wanted to say that this place exceeded my expectations and more! The lady at the front (Caucasian lady) greeted me with a smile and even complimented my scent. She was so kind, warm and pleasant. She took my order very swiftly and got my sandwich done in 10 minutes. My food was hot, fresh and delicious! She even brought my order out to my car! I don’t know who the owner is if this establishment, but I will say that this place will definitely prevail as they treat their customers with respect and care! "We avoided this restaurant for about a year due to poor service and delivery experiences, but recently started returning slowly. We only choose pick-up now, no delivery, because of past issues. Initially, the salads were good, but on our recent visits the chicken was cold and dry. The chicken cutlets in the subs and fries were also dry. Our most recent order of pizzas, including a Margherita and chicken parm, had excessive sauce and dry chicken. The Margherita pizza, which we were excited for, seemed old and dry, as if it had been sitting for a while. Overall, it was a disappointment and we may not return, as there are other places to try. On a positive note, the fries were enjoyable."

"I've been to Lucia's multiple times. I live right up the street, so when I'm craving Italian or a sub I come here. They have a sub lunch special that the price is pretty good. The fries are amazing! I normally do not like french fries, so the only other place that I eat fries is Five Guys. I've had two different pastas, and they were both good, but they are on the pricey side. I've had pizza once, and I wasn't a fan. It wasn't bad, it just wasn't a flavor palette I wanted/enjoyed. On the cold sub with prosciutto, cheese, and roasted peppers, the peppers overpower the flavor of everything else. It sounds good on paper, but the actual sub isn't as great only because all I could taste was peppers. Overall, I highly recommend Lucia's. It is a little pricey if you don't get their specials, but I would rather support local restaurants over big chains any day. Also, their desserts are great, and you can order them to go. The cannoli is amazing!"

"I absolutely love the salads at this place! There are plenty of options for add-ins, and they are always fresh, huge, and very affordable at around $10. However, I’m not as impressed with the sandwiches. I visited around 3 PM, close to closing time, and the salad counter was already closed, so I opted for a Turkey club. Unfortunately, it was one of the pre-made sandwiches on display, and it tasted stale and bland. I imagine the sandwiches might be better earlier in the day. Overall, it’s generally less busy and rushed compared to the nearby civic deli."

"This is the best pizza I've ever had! I love the restaurant in Evergreen, but lately, I've been going to the Crestwood location on Cicero since it's closer when I'm in the city. Unfortunately, the service there wasn't great. My pizza was mistakenly given to another table, so I had to wait about half an hour for a replacement. However, I did receive a complimentary glass of wine and an appetizer for the trouble. Despite the service issues, I absolutely love the taste of their pizza!"

"In my opinion, this is the best pizza in Massachusetts. During my time at UMass Lowell, I wish I had eaten here more frequently. Now that I live near Worcester and work in Boston, I still make it a priority to visit Lowell occasionally just to enjoy the linguica pizza. There's no other place that can satisfy my craving for Santoro's; they truly stand out in their class! The taste is just as I remember it! It's definitely worth the drive. The wings are fantastic as well."

"Got in from work after a very long Valentine 's day shift and everything in the area was closed. Slice told me that Venice was still open and I remembered I had a menu. Hooray, open until midnight and I was starving. I ordered a small pizza which was delivered under quote and the woman on the phone was very nice. I was just so happy some place was still open I even said to her 'thank you for staying open late, I 'm a server and everything around here closes at 10. ' Pizza was your decent corner shop pizza, but the fact that the hours are very service industry friendly got them the fifth star. Will definitely be ordering again. Thanks!"

"I have nothing but positive things to say about Carlos Pizza. The food is absolutely delicious, and I can't recall a single dish I've tried there that I didn't like. In addition to the standard pizza and cheesesteaks, their pasta dishes are AMAZING—they taste incredibly fresh and are even better than what you'd find at a restaurant like Olive Garden. The portions are generous, too; when we order from Carlos, we always have enough for at least two meals, if not more (and I have a big appetite! lol). The prices are fantastic, and they’ve never gotten an order wrong, even when we make special requests like no tomatoes or adding bacon. Lastly, the staff is wonderful—always polite and friendly. "Food that we got was good. Order wasn't ready on time, brought home and wrong order, drove back, 15 minutes each way waited for correct food and when I got home one of the dinners was still wrong. "Incredible workers, although I had to leave early (I was the one in the suit), the fact that the employees took on a group of 30~ idiotic teens an hour and a half before closing like champs is incredible. I hope to dear God you guys didn't have to stay too late to clean the dishes, cups, and etc. and that the remaining folk tipped adequately enough for the individual workers to be granted several hours worth of pay through it. If they didn't, describe to me who didn't tip adequately enough compared to the singular strain that their order caused and they'll be jumped. "Can't believe it took us so long to try this place. Heard so many good things about it but never stopped until this past trip.Their pasta sauce is the best! We split meatball and chicken parm sandwiches one trip, and I got the chicken parm the next trip. Amazing meals! They're open 7 days a week, which is refreshing for the area. So many places are closed on Mondays and Tuesdays. Good to have 7 days a week option in the area.Service was awesome. Lots of drink options. Large rooms for hosting events. My one and only not so positive thing is totally a preference thing, and that is that I did not like the pizza. A thick crusted square pizza that was served on a round pizza pan (ADHD trigger lol), and as much as I loved the pasta sauce, I was not at all a fan of the overly sweet pizza sauce. To each thier own and honestly, they have so many other spectacular options, I just won't get the pizza again."
