"Came here for the first time while visiting La Jolla Beaches. We wanted El Gordo Tacos however were closed. Driving around we randomly found this spot and decided to drop in. I ordered their 2 Fish taco plate which came with rice and beans. Wifey odered their 5 taquitos which came with cheese, guacamole, and pico de gallo. Daughter got their kids meal quesadillas and fries, she really enjoyed. I believe they used Oaxacan style cheese which is way better than most Americanized restaurants. Their fish tacos were amazing and in comparison to El Taco Nazo *Baja style* their cream sauce that goes over them was true to authentic flavors and I enjoyed every bite. Rice and beans covered with Cotijo cheese also amazing flavors. Thier shredded beef taquitos were very delicious as well. If we are in the area again, most definitely will stop by and try other food items on the menu. They practice social distancing and is open for pick up or take out only during the pandemic. They have good service and the place is clean."

"May 6, 2022: We had a disappointing experience today. We typically visit in the afternoon, but decided to come early (at 9:45 AM) and ended up waiting nearly 20 minutes for our burrito from the moment we ordered to when it arrived at our table. It felt like the chef had prepared several orders, but we don't usually come in the morning. In a previous visit, I always ordered the surf and turf burrito, which is incredibly delicious. While I'm not a huge fan of spicy food, I absolutely love their green salsa and need it with my burrito. The service is usually quick here, but I prefer to call ahead when placing an order. Parking is convenient and always available."

"This is the second time that I ordered a big morning burrito and chomped down to receive a little crunchy egg shell surprise. (the first being an order through grubhub). I did not want to believe it at first. I thought that this was just a one time fluke but twice in a row confirmed the lack of the inability of their cook to crack a simple egg without leaving egg shells in their eggs. I've worked in the food service kitchen as a cook before and this lack of training is indicative of an overall decline in quality throughout the burros and fries chain. How can you hire a cook that cannot properly crack open an egg?When I first saw burros and fries expand their multiple chain restaurants I was excited at the newfound availability of my favorite breakfast burrito place, but as I repeatedly ate at several other burro's locations I slowly became disillusioned as their once affordable and delicious burritos became Expensive and Mid.I am sorely disappointed."

"This place is a no for me. I decided to try it, because I?m a vegetarian and they were open and had potato tacos on the menu. I ordered a potato taco and a small order of ?veggie chips? (aka nachos without meat). The potato taco was gross. The nachoswere okay, but there were barely any beans on them. I also found a strip of beef in my ?veggie chips.? The green salsa wasdecent. The red salsa was not really bad, but also not good. Their online ordering system would not allow me to order thepotato tacos without choosing a meat, so I used the Uber Eats app to order and paid more. When I got to the store, the door waslocked, so I went through the drive-thru to let them know I was there, which isn?t a big deal to me. I just wanted tasty food,but now I know not to come here for it. The guy who gave me my order was nice, so that?s a plus."

"First and last time going to Burros Fries. Guy taking order was cool but what is up with the stringy hair girl wearing a face mask that was hanging half off her face calling out orders? She was out right rude to customers. Didn 't fully hear the numbershe called out, asked her what number she just called and she replied it 's on the receipt and walked away. That 's logical butwhen you cover up the receipt by setting food on top of it, we can 't see the numbers. I had to ask as i didn 't want to touchother people 's food and move it around to see the number on the ticket. Then came the joke of a fork they give you to eatsomething that 's crispy and deep fried. Total fail. Fork was too flimsy to even stick in it (see pics). Had to go back to thecounter to ask for a knife and got that same rude girl who said they didn 't have any. How on God 's green earth are you supposedto eat this when you don 't have any knives to cut it and the fork is too flimsy to even stab it. Seriously?!?!. Spent $30 for 2burros and 2 sodas. One was ablr to eat what he got and mine just sat in the container to take home and eat later as they don 't,couldn 't provide decent eating utensils for the deep fried burro. The girl really needs to find a non-customer facing job and ifshe 's going to wear a face mask, then actually wear it. Don 't have it hanging half on/half off your face keeping your chin warm."

"Honestly—it depends on the day. I always get a shrimp cali burrito every time I go, and I always open the burrito and check it before I drive away. Most of the time it’s 5 stars all the way, French fries perfect and plenty of shrimp and rolled up neatly. . .and a few times they have forgotten the fries or only put two shrimp or burned the entire tortilla, or it’s ripped and not folded right and falling out every where. I’d say 70% of the time it’s the best fast food around, and the other 30% its a 2 or 3 star burrito. I brought it back inside once when they really messed up the order, though, and they made me a new one and let me keep the old one. I will still keep going—and keep checking the burrito before I drive away."

"I visited this restaurant for the first time in the evening and was delighted to find it conveniently located next to Reading Cinemas. I appreciated that they stayed open until 10 p.m., especially when many other places had closed. I ordered the Steak-Egg-Burrito, and it was absolutely delicious. It's not often that you see a Steak-Egg Burrito on the menu, particularly outside of breakfast hours, which is a big plus for me. The restaurant has an A rating, and the prices are quite reasonable. They even offer some special deals that provide great value for money. I was a bit surprised that it wasn't busy on a Saturday night, but I noticed a steady flow of orders. The place was clean, and they have TVs inside for entertainment while you eat. I will definitely be coming back!"

"When you eat a Burrito the first 3 bites are a surprise pack.... First bite, beans and some salsa; second bite, beans rice and salsa; third bite a combination with protein and all.... But, the Burrito I got today from this place got the new Campechano Burrito at the first bite I was hit with a combination style full flavor in my mouth. The meat was cooked right and all the ingredients fresh and taste. Size of the burrito? It was good enough to fill me until late afternoon. Inside of the restaurant is an average place but, the taste of the food is good and I think that's all what matters when I'm looking for a satisfying lunch."

"First time ordering from here. I ordered from Uber eats craving some tacos while my toddler slept. At first, I was worried at the prices for each taco but I was hungry and wanted something near my home to get there quickly. I had to come on google mapsto review because its worth it. The flavors, the salsas, and those portions. I love seafood tacos and I thought I was gettingsome basic small taco. They proved me wrong! When I say I can eat 10 tacos like a food champ; two seafood tacos filled me up. Ididn't get to take a picture because I devoured it so fast. However, the beer battered fish taco and the shrimp taco were thesize of regular corn tacos side by side. I got my toddler the small portion campechana French fries and that still seems like alarge portion so I can't imagine what the actual large portion is. These cooks here have a good eye for portions and I'm superhappy with the amount I got for the price considering I was a bit suspect. The food is delicious, packaged well, and obviousthey keep clean. Sometimes I hate ordering for delivery because it disrupts the food but my driver was careful. All I can reallysay after all of that is you need to try some tacos with Burros and Fries from this location. They know what they're doing and Ican say you won't be disappointed. Don't fear the price, it matches what you're paying for because they're delicious and large.You better come hungry they got you covered. I hope this restaurant continues their success and don't lose themselves in theprocess. I want to keep coming here and enjoying the food."
