"My boyfriend and I took a day trip to NYC from NH, and we were looking for a place to eat for lunch after visiting some monuments. We noticed this across the street and decided to wing it on the spur of the moment. I must say, I am so glad we did! Although it was quite busy since it was lunch rush, I enjoyed my Cajun wrap. The service moved as quickly as they could and the food was spectacular! I look forward to any future visits to the city and will definitely return for more!"

"We walked into this place and thought, didn?t we eat here like 5 years ago? Yes, and it?s still here, survived C-19 but gives off a dark antique vibe like it?s haunted by better times. "Everything was really good! The food was fantastic! I had the spaghetti with bolognese sauce with a meatball added. My wife had the bolognese lasagna. Very good garlic bread as well. My wife tried 2 different cocktails; Limoncello Shandy and the Tuscan Margarita. Of the 2 she preferred the Tuscan Margarita. We would like to give a special kudos to our waiter, Michael. He very pleasant and patient with us He advised us that we had a complimentary dessert since we were celebrating our anniversary. My wife I decided on the gelato, but she wanted the pistachio and I wanted the chocolate. My wife said she would go with the chocolate. Michael took both our likes into consideration and surprised us with a scoop of each! We thought that was very considerate of him. We live on the other side of town, so it's about a 40 minute drive for us, but we will definitely be back when we have a taste for some good Italian food and great service!"

"We had a disappointing experience at this restaurant. When we arrived for our reservation, the host—who turned out to be the owner or manager—said that our reservation was marked as "open table." He was quite rude, even going so far as to suggest that we should make our reservation on OpenTable. He mentioned that they had been trying to take a break for months and that our reservation was causing them problems. He claimed they were unaware of our reservation and would "try" to seat us soon. He also implied that I should have reached out to confirm our reservation. This was especially upsetting since it was my birthday dinner, and I felt embarrassed by the whole situation. We ended up leaving without dining there, which was disappointing as we have never had a negative experience when using OpenTable before. Needless to say, we will continue to use OpenTable but will not be returning to Matsutake."

"We came a few minutes early for our 7:00 reservations and were told to wait while they cleared a table. It's normal. Then we sat, ordered drinks and waited for an hour. It was about 45 minutes that we were given soup and salad and the canal finally returned so that we could order more drinks. At least 3 tables in the value of people who went after us and sat after us immediately had a cook. Waiting for an hour to come for a cook to then start cooking is no fun if you are 9 months pregnant (or not)! We therefore made reservations... the cook was brilliant and once we were given food, everyone was happy, but at this point the hunger turned to the coat hanger and we really wanted to go because we were in the hour 2 to the end."

"If you like school cheese, dollar store tasting sauce with tiny bits of chicken on microwaved hoagie that's barely luke warm then this is your place. It honestly tastes like something out of a elementary school cafeteria. If you like ordering a sub off uber eats that says it's ready only to then wait 35 minutes longer, 20 minutes longer than they say it will take then this is your place. Oh and the extremely rude worker with tattoos all over at the front good luck getting his name he'll just refuse and tell you there's no managers. 0 stars. Horrible customer service and Horrible tasting food."

"During this visit, the service was surprisingly poor. I believe it was mainly due to our server. Our appetizers arrived well after our main course, and we had to inquire about them multiple times. Meanwhile, tables nearby were being served the same appetizers we had ordered, so it was clearly not a kitchen issue. One of our sushi orders never arrived, and our server didn’t even notice when she presented us with the bill, which still listed the missing dish. She seemed unconcerned about the service issues, acting as if these problems were completely normal, even though we've never experienced anything like this in previous visits. The sushi, on the other hand, is outstanding! We probably should have been more assertive about our missing food, but we expected the situation to improve."

"Everything looks great except for the smooth sauce, which feels a bit unusual to me because the toppings are excellent. Could you also offer a chicken, bacon, and blue cheese option? Not everyone loves Ranch dressing. Alternatively, you could just do chicken and bacon and let customers choose their preferred creamy dressing. Happy New Year!"

"My friend took me here for dinner as I'm not from the area. The wait for hibachi was too long so we opted for a table in the dining area. I ordered a mule beverage and the pineapple fried rice and a sweet potato avocado sushi roll. Didn't snag a photo of the sushi as I devoured it up too quickly!! The pineapple fried rice was so plentiful and delicious. It had chicken and shrimp in it which I was pleasantly surprised by. I had enough to share with my girlfriend and for another meal the next day."

"This was my 2nd time and I loved it even more. Took the whole family for my sister's birthday. We had the pizza that was out of this world, great crust. Gnocchi, ravioli ... everything is so fresh and delicious. John, the owner, is a real gentleman and knows how to take care of his customers and the server we had that evening. I never felt rushed and could just enjoy the atmosphere and the great food. I highly recommend this restaurant. We look forward to a reunion."

"Kobe House is not a family-friendly restaurant. The staff attempted to seat my family of four separately, despite the availability of four chairs together. My two toddlers made it difficult to manage being split up. It was particularly frustrating because there was already a couple at the table who weren't seated at the end. I would recommend avoiding this place if you have a family!"

"Our dinner at JO TO's was absolutely delightful. There were three of us, and we chose to sit at a table instead of the bar. We were seated near the well, which created a soothing atmosphere, especially after our meeting with the accountant about our 2018 tax return. We ordered some wine, and our server informed us about the happy hour special, so we opted for the house wine (two for one) along with some appetizers. The pot stickers and egg rolls were incredibly tasty. After that, we ordered sushi, more pot stickers, and vegetable tempura. Everyone enjoyed soup and salad, and the dishes were served promptly and piping hot. Both the service and the food were outstanding. We can’t wait to come back!"

"Great experience! The sushi boat for 2 was very filling and delicious! The staff were very helpful and nice. Update 8/22/2020: We went to dinner with the family (7 adults, 2 kids, 2 toddlers to celebrate mine and my daughter’s birthday. I wanted to give a huge shout out to the wonderful people here! We were there from 5-6:30pm. The toddlers were a tad cranky and (as any parent knows, it can be a little embarrassing! we didn’t feel as though we were disrupting anything! It was a great feeling to have. As usual, the food was wonderful! I still recommend the boat for 2 and the French Kiss sushi platter is THE BEST for those that love a kick of spice! This was our fourth time coming (first with the toddlers and will always make our way from Cross Roads Tx to Flower Mound if we ever want a nice meal of sushi! Thank you again!"

"This is an exceptionally difficult review for me to write, but I feel it necessary to share my experience at this particular establishment. Although the setting may provide a modest ambiance synonymous with a middle range restaurant, the price of the drinks is anything but modest.A focal point of my dissatisfaction centers around a pair of Tequila shots. As a newcomer to the world of Tequila, I sought guidance from our server, who recommended a duo of shots without disclosing their prices upfront, an oversight I deemed to be unintentional at that moment.My perception, however, quickly shifted when I received the bill a whopping $36 for the two shots. To put it into perspective, this is the equivalent of what two main courses would typically cost in a restaurant of this caliber. Needless to say, I was astounded by the exorbitant price, a cost I would expect at a high end lounge, not a middle of the road Mexican restaurant.The absence of price transparency and the unreasonably steep cost for a simple request have left a bitter taste, stronger than any Tequila. Unfortunately, due to these reasons, I cannot recommend this establishment until there are significant changes in their pricing policy and transparency. Consider this a cautionary tale always ask for the prices, especially for recommendations."

"We had a disappointing experience during dinner. There was a failure to communicate our request for gluten-free options throughout the meal. Additionally, both soup and water were accidentally spilled on us and our phones, and we got splattered with oil while our food was being prepared. We only received water refills twice during our visit. Given that we spent over $300, the overall experience did not justify the cost, and we won’t be returning. The restaurant wasn’t busy, so the lack of attentive service was unexpected."
