"We were warmly welcomed by a friendly and courteous staff who quickly attended to us, even though we were just a party of two. The seating consists mainly of picnic tables, which are fun and offer a nice view of the bay as you watch the boats pass by. If I had to point out something negative about the scenery, it would be that the docks might need some repairs, as they appear to be in disrepair.
The atmosphere is peaceful, with most customers engaged in quiet conversations. However, we didn’t just come for the view; we were there to eat! My friend and I were immediately drawn in by the wonderful aroma from the grill; the menu choices looked enticing. That said, the prices seemed a bit high for a quick bite on a Monday evening.
Don’t let that discourage you, though! While I can’t speak to the flavor of everything on the menu, the inviting smells were enough to make us eager to try something. We both ordered the chicken breast sandwich, and I must say it’s among the best, if not the absolute best, chicken breast sandwich in the city. The marinade was fantastic, and the chef grilled it to perfection. The bun was fresh and soft, just as it should be, and the salad was crisp and well-prepared. I even stopped by the kitchen to compliment the cook on the sandwiches!
The fries were also excellent, especially if you enjoy crispy ones, which I certainly do! I'm pretty sure they use Lamb Weston for those who are food enthusiasts. Overall, this is a great place for a quiet yet enjoyable escape along a beautiful shoreline."
