"I had an amazing experience at yummy crab, as usual! This time, Matt was our server and he was very attentive and made great recommendations. The menu has been changed recently so I wasn’t familiar with a lot of the dishes even though I’m a regular customer. Matt was able to explain all of the new items very well and the food that I received matched his descriptions perfectly! I love the atmosphere at Yummy Crab. The lights and music are really nice and there are wood features everywhere that add a classy touch. My guests were very satisfied with their experiences as well and I will definitely keep coming back!"

"Got the Sushi Bento for dinner. Everything was fresh. The three different rices were distinct (sushi, maki, plain). Sushi rice had the vinegar flavor, the maki rice was sticky and seemed to have very-slightly undercooked grains, and the plain rice was just that, simple with no flavor. The cuts of fish were alright with decent texture. The tempura and other sides were nice additions. The miso soup and ginger salad dressing were standard and good. Presentation and use of to go boxes was on point. If it had waited for much longer in the bag/box my fish would have been too warm. Price is in the eye of the beholder."

"I am writing this review to express my disappointment with OpenTable's service. Recently, I had an unfortunate experience with a restaurant listed on their platform that turned out to be closed. I had made a reservation through OpenTable for a special occasion, and my excitement was quickly dashed when we arrived at the restaurant only to find it completely shut down. Unfortunately, OpenTable failed to meet these expectations and left me feeling frustrated and misled. "I actually really liked going to Wild Crab over the years but yesterday I went and was shocked to randomly find out that they stopped happy hour on a Thursday and didn't advise until after. I feel like why make Thursday the 1st day and not finish out the week. "The service was excellent. They set up a table for 15 of us, and we all loved the food – it was truly exceptional. We started with fried gator, lemon pepper wings, hush puppies, and fried lobster tails, and everything was perfectly crispy. Several in our group ordered the combo meals, which were also fantastic! The timing of the food being served was just right. Overall, we had a wonderful time; make sure to try the cheesecake with the strawberry passion fruit sauce!"

"I ordered delivery through Door Dash, but my order was more than two hours late, so I decided to pick it up instead. I was worried that the seafood would end up rubbery and cold by that point. When I got there, my order wasn't ready, but the woman at the counter was very kind and helpful. She had my order freshly prepared in just a few minutes and even added a complimentary sushi roll for the inconvenience. The service was excellent, and the food was delicious!"

"My server was amazing! Her attitude was amazing as she worked several tables and the bar herself. The restaurant was clearly very understaffed. We Had to wait longer than reserved time and then we waited 2 hours for our food. Our food was COLD and not really good. "I don’t know if my expectations were high but everything was just ok. Nothing was impressive. The server was alright. We got king crab legs and a couple of clusters of snow crab and had to ask for crab crackers. There was 3 of us she brought 1. She grabbed the pair off of the table that was beside us. The restaurant was dirty. Had trash on the floor everywhere. You can tell nobody at the restaurant takes pride in their job or goes above and beyond. My son spilled his drink and the guy that came out to clean it was nice but besides that everything was mediocre. Wasn’t worth the 150$ I spent that’s for sure!"

"Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most restaurants to be overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we walked in - that's a huge plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without interfering. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as advertised and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended."

The food was a bit to greasy for my belly, but delicious, however, it was Andrea’s top-notch service that made this visit memorable. "I sat at the bar waiting for the rest of my party before we sat down for dinner. Ordered drinks at the bar, to my dismay one of the waiters came to collect drinks for a table and proceeded to put a straw in the drink to taste it before he delivered it to the table. We paid our tab and immediately left without dinner. Absolutely disgusting the waiter tasted the drinks before taking it to the tables to paying customers. I sure hope the owner reads these reviews. "I wasn't sure what I'd get after reading the reviews. I wanted crab legs and I didn't want to go far so I decided to try it. I had a very good experience. My only disappointment was that the boils did not come with sausage and only had one piece of corn. The crab legs were crisp and cracked like they should. I also ordered a fried catfish basket with sweet potato fries which was also very tasty. I didn't use tarter or cocktail sauce that I asked for. I ordered broccoli and it was enough for two more servings but not seasoned at all, just steamed. I was dining solo and my waitress Sydney was attentive and very pleasant. Kudos on her good CS! Also had a Pina colada mojito, and for this I'd say just stick to regular instead of flavored or order a pina colada if you want one because it didn't feel like a mojito but was good."

"Alright, so my family and I went here on Sunday b/c we wanted some SEAFOOD. We read the reviews (which were all good and decided to go for it. Needless to say, we went it order what we wanted (Lobster Roll, Combo E, Fried Haddock and hush puppies. Can I just say it was made to order (Hot n Ready and it was so plentiful. Their Cajun Fries are the bomb.com. The seasonings was DELICIOUS and on point. The Lobster roll comes on a buttery sweet roll.....SO GOOD. I was like.....OH YEAH.....THIS IS THE SPOT. We enjoyed all of it, and we will BE BACK (hopefully to dine in. They have not had a lot of business since the pandemic so go and PATRONIZE them. "I just had one of the most delicious meals I've experienced in a long time. We visited Yummy Crab on the east side of Indianapolis for the first time. I ordered half a pound of peel-and-eat shrimp (without heads), along with corn and some incredibly tasty red potatoes that just melted in my mouth. I opted for the garlic butter flavor and chose a non-spicy heat level. We also ordered hush puppies. My husband had the scallops, and he enjoyed his meal as well. We will definitely be returning!"
