"The ambiance, however, felt more like a sports bar than a seafood restaurant, given the numerous TVs and the constant sports commentary playing in the background. Our waitress was friendly, but she made a couple of mistakes with our order, possibly due to the loud sports broadcasts.
On the plus side, the prices were very reasonable, and the portion sizes were generous. I enjoyed my jalapeño margarita, and the food was generally well-prepared and flavorful. The only downside was the fries, which were a bit bland and could have used more seasoning. The seafood was cooked nicely, and the batter was quite good. I was a bit disappointed with the crab cakes, as I prefer them with larger chunks of crab rather than tiny shreds. However, the fried fish was excellent! The wings had great flavor and were generously sauced, though they were slightly on the dry side.
The kids loved their pasta and cheeseburger. For dessert, the key lime pie was decent, though the crust could use some improvement; I've certainly had better from the grocery store.
We would consider returning if we were in the mood for seafood, but we would likely ask for music as background noise instead of the loud sports broadcasts. Even my husband, who enjoys sports, found the noise disappointing. I really think the constant sports commentary took away from the overall vibe of the place."
