"I must begin with ordering for a birthday celebration for my husbands 80th birthday and the very pleasant manager who helped me order, he was honest because he felt I ordered too much food for the amount of people attending so I scaled back and he was right. I ordered several entrees and chicken fingers which got rave reviews . One guest said the eggplant rollatini was the best she ever had!!!!! Every choice I made was complimented as being delicious even the chicken fingers which I ordered for the children were a hit with the adults. Thank you Calda Massapequa for helping make this event memorable for us!!!"

"I was sent out to the Island for a business trip and decided to look up an old friend in the area. We needed to meet up close by and decided on Italian. I did not expect much from this place but was pleasantly surprised at how shockingly good it was. The staff's service was impeccable and the portions were huge. The prices were extremely reasonable too. The Baked Clams and the Zuppa di Pesce is a must at this place. Put this place in your list!!"

"I found everything at this restaurant to be outstanding. The food was fresh, and the prices were quite reasonable given the generous portions. They also serve wine in carafes at great prices. Our server, Denise, was fantastic—she had a wonderful personality and was very knowledgeable and efficient. We dined on a busy Sunday night and made a reservation a day in advance. Everyone at our table thoroughly enjoyed their entrees, which included chicken francaise, shrimp fra diavolo, chicken sweet melissa, chicken Parmesan, manicotti, and chicken saltimbocca. The appetizers were excellent as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant!"

"Ordered a Sicilian upside down for pickup. Visions of L&B Spumoni Gardens danced in my head as I looked forward to my first pie from this place. Parking was a breeze off the street in the adjacent lot next to the 7th Precinct. Walked in was greeted by a pleasant enough counter person. Place looked kinda clean, smelled pretty good. Grabbed my $28. pie; which was quite weighty and I thought was reasonably priced, adjusted for inflation, and headed out to the lot. Drove home and opened the warm box at my kitchen table. What an ultimate let down when I opened it up. The box contents reeked of Parmesan dumped atop a seeming gallon of acrid sauce drowning a mere and slight hint of barely there mozzarella, all framed by a dark brown border of over cooked crust. Not so bad, you might say? When I went go grab a slice it flopped over lifelessly as the sauce and parm dust flowed off into the box. Still I remained undeterred and feeling adventurous, I took a bite. Horrible. Back into the box it went and after a shot trip to the garbage cans my brief but unforgettable experience with Brooklyn Square came to an unceremonious end. "This Friday my husband and I visited this local restaurant to celebrate our 9th Wedding Anniversary. Unfortunately this will be the LAST TIME we eat at Bramasole. We arrived and were seated at a very nice table near the fireplace. The table across from ours was a 6 Top: 3 adults , a 2 month old infant, a 3 year old and a five year old child. One of the adults decided to give the 3 yr old their cellphone to watch a cartoon. The music in the restaurant was now drowned out by kiddie cartoons. Unfortunately the noise from the cell phone was too overwhelming.... especially for a anniversary dinner for 2 . Finally I got up and took Anna, the manager aside in the back of the restaurant to inform her of our displeasure. She admitted that she could hear the noise from the cell phone from where we were standing. To my surprise Anna was not willing to address the table of 6 that the cell phone needed to be silenced. Her solution was to inconvenience us and make US MOVE to another table. Stunning. My husband communicated his displeasure with to Anna 's solution when she came to our table. She simply offered to transport our food and wine to another table. I have 25 years experience in hospitality management. This was a coward 's way out of this situation and totally unacceptable. Things did not improve. Our second table was so close to the fire place that I was unable to tolerate the heat.....I had to remove my sweater and change my seat at the table. Unfortunately the gluten free pasta was NOT COOKED fully. At this point I did not mention this to my husband or the waiter. I just took it home . The food was underwhelming. The wine list seems to be shrinking. Our waiter , Milton was efficient. When we received our bill there was no comp on dessert or coffee to soften the fact that we had to move our seats due to the inconsiderate behavior of others. There are many other restaurants that will value our business. This one sadly is not one of them."

"The pasta is always cooked fresh and my lasagna was perfect. The red sauce is so good and its not like some resturants where the red sauce gives you heart burn. The sauce is perfect. The bread came out warm and toasty for the table. The service was also very good. I absolutely love the mango martini and would recommend that. Average cost for 2 people will probably be over $100.
