"I've been visiting Rails Steakhouse for years and recently stopped in for a friend's birthday dinner on a Saturday evening at 8:30pm. The restaurant was packed and the vibe was great. There are three levels to this romantic steakhouse nestled in Towaco just next door to the train station. Keep in mind, on the weekends, they usually have complimentary valet service, which is nice. Upon entry, you're greeted by their friendly hostess and the main level of the restaurant, with a bar on the side. The upstairs level is another dining area with bar and that's where we were seated. The lower level of this restaurant and their speakeasy, Thirty3, is the best part part about this place; check out my review on this MUST visit well kept secret in NJ. Our party of 12 ordered some drinks by the bar while we waited for our table. We were then seated and promptly brought over menus. The general manager Mike, came over to greet us and apologized for the long wait and as a courtesy offered us complimentary pizzas. I thought this was a nice touch, and made us all feel valued as guests. Our server was equally as accommodating and patient with our entire party, offering his recommendations and thoughts on the menu items. None of which disappointed. I ordered a bottle of wine which wasn't terribly priced and quite delicious as it paired nicely with the lamb chops that I ordered for dinner. Everyone else at the table seemed very pleased with their entrees as there was a moment of complete silence as everyone enjoyed their meal LOL...(usually a good sign). At the end of the meal, the staff came out with assorted desserts and sang well wishes to the birthday boy. Overall, if you are looking for a dining option for a special occasion, date night or a delicious meal, Rails Steakhouse is a MUST try. Conveniently located with good service, romantic vibe and delicious bites, you won't be disappointed. Tip: If you have time to kill before or after your dinner, please don't miss out on visiting their cozy speakeasy, Thirty3, on the ground level, thank me later!!!"

"What a great find!! The food was excellent and ver authentic!! You won't find tacos and burritos here, it's more gourmet!! Try the coconut calamari...probably the best I've ever had! Service was great and the drinks served with a smile!! We'll definitely be back!"

"We stopped here on a whim on our way past the ferry terminals and could not have been more pleased with the experience. Our server Tara was so incredibly friendly and had stellar recommendations for us. Every single item we ordered was absolutely phenomenal but the new butter cake with ice cream and pistachios stood out as the highlight from our experience. The drinks were good value and well, made. We didn't plan to sit outdoors originally due to cool weather but the outdoor area was covered and heated so well we ended up sitting there and taking our jackets off which made for an even better experience with a view that we did not expect! We were tourists in the area but will absolutely make a point to stop back again in future trips to the area!"

"This restaurant was the biggest surprise of our many winter seasons in Boca Raton Florida. It looks like a cheap NYC Greek diner from the outside, but when we. walked in we were taken away to Santorini, with its bright white walls and brilliant blue landscape. For a lot less than the cost of airfare to Athens, we ate perfectly prepared Greek food served by attentive and friendly staff who told us about their grandmother’s kitchens in the old country. In a city full of bland American and Italian restaurants, this is an orinal. Of course our meal was pricier than expected but well worth it."

"Since my wife if from Jerez de la Frontera, Spain we took our family for tapas and sherry during International Sherry Week. So glad to see Barlata was one of several restaurants in USA to celebrate sherry. My wife and I have been to many, many Spanish restaurants in USA, but this is by far the most authentic. Must try tapas include: gambas al ajillo; croquetas; patatas bravas (my favorite) and of course jamon Iberico. There are many more items to choose from and a great wine list. Also excellent desserts and a good selection of sherry. The owners are from Barcelona and Madrid so you know everything is authentic. My family eats here several times per year. Highly recommend for excellent Spanish food."

"We have been to Tapeo three or four times each with friends. Each time the food was wonderful and the service was exemplary. The first time we had the paella and the portions were too much for us. The other times we had tapas...a total of about 10 different ones. Only one we felt overpriced (the lamb chops 2 small chops which were not enough to share. However EVERY dish was wonderful! Would absolutely recommend this for groups of 6 or 8 and anything smaller. The food will be memorable. Best Spanish food in Palm Beach and Broward counties"

"Such a sweet spot in a nook of Lowry! Dog friendly patio and partially carpeted so our pup didn’t have to lay on the hot concrete. Very attentive, friendly and knowledgeable staff. We loved the cocktails made from scratch (no sweet sour mix here! We recommend the grapefruit margarita and drunken burro soda but there is a vast selection of mezcal and tequila. The home made corn tortillas are sensational and I would come back solely for them. Flavor balance and portion size of the tacos were spot on. You must try the quesabirria tacos, and the carne asada is a solid second choice. This would be a great place to have a meet up or celebration. Parking was a breeze and outside seating was quiet. "At the Burr Ridge location, all of the exterior walls feature retractable windows that are kept open, which adds to the experience. However, on the day we visited, it was quite breezy and cool, so we chose a high-top table in a corner to shield ourselves from the wind. While this is likely part of the Hamptons vibe, I personally prefer a more climate-controlled setting with fewer bugs buzzing around my food—your preferences may differ. I found their signature cocktails to be quite expensive, ranging from $17 to $19 each. The well drink I ordered (Bacardi and Coke) seemed a bit small for its price of $10. The sides we selected were also nearly as pricey, costing between $13 and $17, which was almost as much as the entrees, which ranged from $24 to $27. Our server, Jasmine C, was very attentive and helpful, especially in clarifying the specific ingredients in dishes since neither my wife nor I are seafood fans. She definitely contributed to making our experience more pleasant than it could have been. Overall, I don’t see this as a place we would visit frequently, although we might return in the future to see Michael perform again."

"DO NOT RECOMMEND !! The most bizarre dining experience in my life. Walked in. No signs or host, nothing. After a few minutes a girl says just seat yourself. We do. After 5 minutes a different girl comes by you know what you want? Oh you probably need menus first. Then a different girl shows up. You want anything to drink? We order drinks. Then a different girl shows up with menus and silverware. Then yet another different girl brings our drinks. So 4 different girls so far. The girl returned who took our drink order and asked what we wanted to eat. We order reluctantly. Should have paid for drinks left, but nope we are stupid: gluten for punishment our food arrives 1pizza 1 prime rib with fries broccoli. Well the fries weren't fries they were diced potatoes deep fried the broccoli was probably on the grill on fire all night. The prime rib was the worst. It was as if it was cooked the night before and then sliced up to be taken home for you to heat up or cook it yourself. That bad unfortunately. The pizza was the only decent thing. Not great but not bad either honestly. The n that was it. Never saw anyone after that. Not to check on us to see if we needed anything, another drink or how's the first couple bites! Nothing. So we decide best to just go. I tried to remember what food cost on menu drinks just ball parked what the meal cost just flagged down the only girl we could find. Gave her some money to cover food left. Never got a bill, thanks for stopping nothing. I can't believe this is still in business. "As others have noted, be careful of being overcharged. Recently came 30 minutes before closing, ordered a number of items that came out to $39. They normally give a receipt with an order number, this time they didn't. Got home and noticed, a taco wasswapped for a burrito, which is $6 more. After tax, the order was $13 more than it should have been, but still unsure how itcould've added up to $39. No other customers were there. It's not possible that it was mixed with someone else's order. Beencoming here since the tacos were $1.25 and they accepted credit cards. They're cash only now and tacos are $3. Long time patronand supporter, but I won't be going back after this experience."
