"We visited this restaurant with our family of four (two teenage boys) based on reviews for Mexican in the area. When we walked in it was quite underwhelming with a lot of empty space and very old, small tables in a large space (with very high ceilings). The bar has three tvs all with old game shows on which didn’t help the vibe. The staff was very friendly and attentive throughout our meal. You could tell the starter chips and salsa were fresh. We all ordered different meals including a salad, chimichangas, mahi mahi and chili rellenos. The food and service was twice as good as the decor. Portions were good and price was reasonable especially compared to other locations we ate at while in town. Can’t say this is in my top 10 for Mexican restaurants but it was decent if you have a taste for Mexican."

"Very disappointing. This meal did not feed my family of three. The chicken was flavorful, but nothing else was pleasing. The enchiladas was basic. It was prepared with melted cheese on top, it didn't come with neither red or green sauce. There was no olives, onions, etc. The pints of beans and rice were half full. Even if it was full, it would not have been enough to feed a family of three. Only two members where able to have beans and rice. I expected full containers for the price I paid. I would not purchase again. Lesson learned."

"The California Burrito with pastor was excellent, and the service was quick. The salsa was also fantastic. However, I was disappointed with the Shrimp Ceviche Tostada because it was missing both avocado and limes. I would have at least expected the avocado I paid for, which would have made the dish a win. Unfortunately, the DoorDash refund process isn't great and doesn't compensate for order issues, but that's not the restaurant's fault."

"I decided to try this restaurant after it became popular on social media. As someone from the Southwest, I'm quite particular about my Mexican food, so I went in with low expectations—lower than the age of the owner's girlfriend, to be honest. The service was just okay, but the food had a strange taste that reminded me of paint. Perhaps our server had some paint on her hands when she brought our plates. I would recommend avoiding this place; even Taco Bell might be more authentic and ethical."

"If you are looking for authentic Central American food made by the nicest people in all the Americas, come here now. Run, don’t walk because it is Delicioso y rico. My Nicaraguan wife gave the food 5 stars immediately. Perfect food, wonderful vibe, amazing staff, and a room full of happy, polite, and friendly guests. I was the only gringo but I’m used to it and I love being around my Latino friends and family. I have reviewed a lot of Nicaraguan restaurants and so thankful that we found this wonderful restaurant here in Kansas. Sorry but most of my photos are personal."
