"Looking for a GREAT seafood spot to hit after the beach? Rinse off those sandy calves, throw on a clean outfit, and come on down! Every year, my family and I make our annual pilgrimage to Mr. Shrimp after a day at the shore. I have tried other seafood restaurants at various locations at the Jersey Shore over the years. Most were good, but Mr. Shrimp is the standout, and my parents ' favorite. We return every year for the freshly prepared and VERY delicious seafood. This visit was no different, except we ordered mostly appetizers this time. We had the calamari, crab cake bites, Ipswich clams, conch fritters, and the fried shrimp sandwich. Everything was seasoned well and cooked to perfection. The clams were plump, soft and flavorful, the calamari tender-crisp, and the conch fritters were even 1000% better than the ones I ate last month in the Cayman Islands, with nice chunks of conch inside. The small simple garden salad my mother ordered was colorful and GIGANTIC. The service was impeccable throughout our meal. We didn 't order dessert, entrees, or cocktails, but everything passing us by looked fantastic. This was our first time to Mr. Shrimp since they relocated to a larger building. The interior is bright, modern, spacious, and classy, with ample space between the tables. The vibe is casual/smart casual. The kind of place your Aunt Ethel would dine at with her book club. The kind of place your boss would bring his wife and mistress to (but not on the same day). The kind of place that mom takes too long to get ready for while dad paces around impatiently. Don 't feel like dining in? They do take out too!"

"in the valley inn! eating is delicious, they give very generous portions, the staff was welcoming, and they have a lot of sitting and beautiful ambiente. I had two problems with this visit. our waitress was friendly and decided to bring extra bread that she said was “deviled” but it was extremely heavy and barely edible. they volunteer to bring extra bread, as we decided to share the crab-dip assizer, we had very hard and overly roasted bread pieces in the round 4. I appreciate that she was mentally enough to get extra. we hate to give back food or create a fuss, so we tried to blow it and dive into the crabs. I think the brot is ciabatta brot, which of course has a little hard outside / soft in but this brot was hard all in all! we tried to knock on it, but the hard was unbearable and when the waitress came back, we hardly ate them back to her. we told her it was too hard and we couldn't eat it. I asked for her to bring more broth, but not to shy, hoping that could help, but this time she brought cold hard broth! we didn't want to make a big deal of it, so we just let it sit there. of course, to say that she was still charged for the extra brot that she originally offered that I thought honestly was free (it said "$1.00 extra brot" on my rucksack. Please get her a better and softer selection of broth like naan brot, weizenroll, chewing French brot! hard brot is only good for diving in very hot suppening, which naturally soften the broth when it once dipped! also the stands in the middle room are great! and very spacious, however there is an unpleasant design from the very rear room, the large windows that are not properly isolated! Last time I visited, we sat in the back and it was badly isolated in the month of December! I think there are overhead heating or warm lights back there that have helped, but the room is still cool, which makes the dining room a bit unpleasant."

"My partner and I decided to have a movie night in and get takeout. We recently moved into the area and wanted to try something new! Excitedly, we called up this place, as it 's flyer was in our welcome package. When we ordered, the woman on the phone misheard my order. My partner and I got the order home to find that it was incorrect. We called back and the woman on the phone argued with me about what I said when I ordered. After a while of going back and forth and getting nowhere, I asked for her manager and she spews back I AM the manager. You can say what you need to say to me! I reiterated that I got the wrong order and she put a man on the phone. I told him what happened and he told us to come back to exchange the order, meanwhile reprimanding me You need to speak more clearly when ordering! We got to the shop and we told the lady at the window we were there to exchange an order. We had to wait an additional 10 mins for our food to come out. When we were leaving the establishment, the manager chased us down to my car, shouting You need to speak more clearly! It was a misunderstanding. You really need to speak more clearly! I had spoken very clearly over the phone, jsyk. The inside of the establishment wasn 't appealing to the eye and the chicken was dry. Homeless men catcalled me as I was walking with my partner to the car. We will NEVER be eating here again. If I could have given this no stars, I would have. 0/5 Stars"
