"I live in Rhode Island, and I often find myself thinking about driving over four hours just to enjoy the tacos at Taco Factory. To illustrate my point, there was one day during a road trip when we stopped there on our way home, and the restaurant was facing a staffing crisis. Everyone except for a brand new dishwasher and a younger staff member had to leave due to a family emergency. The young employee was actually in the process of closing down the restaurant and was turning away future guests because, with the volume of takeout orders and the constant ringing of the phone, it was impossible for just two people to manage everything (especially late on a Sunday evening). I’m so grateful he let us stay and offered to cook for us because the food was definitely worth the wait. He was incredibly kind, accommodating, and genuinely apologetic. This experience is why I never complain in restaurants—good things take time! I can't wait to visit again."
