"I decided to try a new Chinese place for a special night. Overall I was disappointed in my pickup order, and was expecting much better food based on the favorable reviews and the prices. I paid over $30 for 2 entrees, one with “fried” rice, and an order of cream cheese wontons. The wontons were good, but the rest of the food not so much. The sesame chicken was barely ok but too much breading and it was sitting in over 1/2” of oil in the bottom of the container and most of the pieces were soggy. I poured the oil out before giving to the person it was ordered for. The “fried”rice was nothing more than yellow colored rice with a few peas and tiny carrot pieces and specks of onions. The schezwan beef was the worst. There was nothing schezwan about it, as far as flavor. The strongest flavor was of oil, and I don’t know what kind but it didn’t taste good at all. The beef must have been cheap and soaked in oil to make it tender because it had NO texture of beef, it was just slimy from oil. The vegetables in it were nothing special, didn’t seem fresh. The sauce was terrible. It wasn’t spicy at all and the taste was unrecognizable except for the oil again. I guarantee you the oil they use is very cheap, probably canola. They need to cut back on the oil and add some flavor and good spices. A lot of these reviews have got to be fake, because I can’t believe there would be many raving reviews for their food. I won’t be returning. Very disappointed."

"I'm currently staying in a hotel from out of town and ordered from this restaurant the following: 2 liter of soda Wonton Soup Lemon Chicken.Instead of a 2 liter I received 3 cans of Coke and was informed they were out of 2 liters. Doing the quick and dirty math a 2 liter is ~67.6 fl oz. A Can of soda is 12 oz. 67/12 5.58. So I should have received a minimum of 5 cans for cost, technically 5.5. So 5 cans or 6.I also received no flatware with which to eat my meal. No chopsticks, no fork, no spoon, nothing.Luckily I was able to go to the lobby and get some disposable flatware, but that meant coming all the way up to my room, unpacking the food, realizing I had nothing to eat it with, and having to go back down to the lobby.Not a huge deal in itself, but when coupled with the soda issue (especially since the soda is already overpriced, but again stuck in a hotel and figured I'd eat the cost to have it delivered rather than making a trip out to the store)."

"The staff at this restaurant is very friendly and they offer a wide selection of Asian dishes. The green chili dish was especially delicious, with the perfect amount of spice and a delicious coconut milk sauce. I would definitely order it again. The house crispy duck was also good, with a generous portion size. It wasn't as crispy as I had hoped for, but it was still enjoyable."

"Love their food! Good size proportions. Family operated, everyone there goes above and beyond to make the meals in a timely manner. My fiancé I were worried they might not reopen, but they did and we're there at least twice a week. I strongly recommend the Shrimp Fried Rice, Egg Rolls, Shrimp Rolls their excellent Shrimp Lobster Sauce. We make sure to order the Chicken on a Stick with every visit. The take out dishes are microwavable too, sturdy and reusable! Great deal for your money. I can't say anything about the spices dishes, but all the non spicey items we've purchased were absolutely delicious."

"I recently passed by this restaurant and noticed that it is closed. Given the decline in the quality of their food, I was not surprised. According to their Facebook page, Orchid Restaurant, located at 3025 US-130 in Delran, will be permanently closing on January 1, 2023. They have been serving high-quality Chinese, Japanese, and Thai food for over 13 years and are grateful for the support they have received. Unfortunately, the commercial real estate contract is ending in December and will not be renewed. The business will not have the same management or name going forward. "A new tasty sushi spot. I went with a friend for dinner and ate on the Japanese cuisine side. We were both impressed with the decor, layout and overall ambiance of the entire restaurant. I found the Japanese and Chinese cuisine menus to be intriguing. Our server was courteous and attentive the entire time we dined. The overall menu pricing is reasonable and the menu options were creative and enticing. I ordered an Alaska roll, spicy yellowtail roll and miso soup. The fish was fresh and flavorful, making the rolls that much more enjoyable. I will definitely be back with my boyfriend for dinner. This is a nice new addition in Waukesha/Brookfield and I look forward to dining here again."

"The food here at Mei Wei is amazing. My favorite is the sesame chicken with white rice. The chicken is very delicious, hot and crispy and I am satisfied every time. The sauce on the chicken is very delicious also. I also love the fried rice. I will come back here again in the future, I definitely recommend the sesame chicken, come here if you like sesame chicken. I have tried many Chinese restaurants and this is the best sesame chicken and Chinese food I have ever had. I have been coming here for years. "I have been ordering takeout from China Wok for over five years, often several times a week. I'm thrilled that they made it through the Covid downturn. The family running the restaurant is incredibly nice and accommodating. The food is quite good, although some dishes are better than others, which I've learned through my numerous orders. If I request a dish to be less spicy or with a little less broccoli, or even if I want pork instead of chicken in the chicken noodle soup, they never have a problem accommodating my requests, and they always get it right. The soups, especially the House soup, are both delicious and healthy. The fried dumplings are fantastic. I've noticed that in the past few months, the food has only improved. If you're seeking high-end Chinese cuisine like you might find in downtown Nashville, this isn’t the place for you, which is why I didn’t give them five stars. However, if you want consistently good, reasonably priced Chinese food with generous portions, I highly recommend giving them a try."

"We dined in once and had a great experience, so we decided to try delivery. Unfortunately, our order was delivered to the wrong house across the street, despite that home having clear house numbers. They simply left the food outside. Fortunately, a neighbor noticed and called us to check if we had placed an order. The delivery driver had ripped off the receipt, so there was no way to identify who the order belonged to. We contacted the restaurant, but they didn't seem very concerned about the situation."
