"I found Cheng 's through yelp, and decided to visit on a Sunday night. I normally go to Maryland to get my Chinese fix, and was excited to find this place that is closer to the Fairfax area. The restaurant had a very solid stream of patrons seated, and coming in for take out. They also had a tiki bar, which was different but looked fun. It was our first time here and I wanted to order some dishes I was familiar with. We ordered the Beef noodle soup, the three pepper chicken, spicy fish hot pot (we ordered the small, but it was fairly large imo), and salt and pepper shrimp/scallop (which they call Scallop and Shrimp with Spices . Everything came out fairly quickly. The food also came with a large bowl of rice to share. Everything either met or exceeded my expectations. The standouts were the beef noodle soup and spicy fish hot pot. The three pepper chicken was a little saltier than I would have liked but it was fine when eaten with rice. The service was also wonderful. We were checked on multiple times by several people to make sure everything was okay. All the employees were more than welcoming. Would definitely return to try more things on the menu.
