"My family of four decided to try a new Chinese restaurant for take-out tonight, and Yan's was good. We had egg rolls and spring rolls to start. I thought the spring rolls were a little bland, but the other 3 of us thought both the spring and the egg rolls were good. My son liked his shrimp fried rice. It was not greasy like some. The vegetable lo mein was very good and the shrimp in garlic sauce was very good. The garlic sauce was rated medium spicy according to what we ordered, but it wasn't spicy at all, so next time we will order hot. My husband did not like the chicken in black bean sauce. There was not much sauce and it was super bland. He had also ordered medium hot, but it was not just the heat that was missing, it didn't have much taste. We will go here again, since most of the dishes were good. Husband will either ask for extra sauce and see if that adds flavor, or try something else."
